What can be confusing is browsing TDs websites, some state the factory the watch came from on some of their watches, some don't

I think in some cases you have to ask them for what you want.

This is an example of a good site (IMHO, I have no affiliation to the TD)

You know what exact model and movement, what factory it came from (JF in this case), what price and if it's in stock.

But of course you have to shop around. No one said buying a rep is easy! LOL

Another tip is just because it says 'in stock' that isn't necessarily true, you should ask before you order.

All the info should be under the Omega sub-thread, but as far as I know, V6F is the best, but my info isn't that up to date these days..

I'm feeling a bit charitable this morning.[emoji6] TC (Thomas Caddell) builds Rolex reps. His works are considered the best for that brand, as reflected in his prices and wait time. He has rockstar status and a cult like followership. He is not infallible but many consider it an anathema to even criticize him. He is presently on an hiatus.

It does seem unpopular to critisise TC. Personally I feel that as soon as movements with correct keyless became available and he wasn't using them he was no longer even a contender. He seems now to be out of the game altogether.

I am wearing tc v7 sub LN extreme as a beater everyday...wore it in extreme heat, when my hand is sweating, wore it in heavy rain... Not a single thing wrong, I didn't take it to pool, yet, if it passes pool test then literally from outside it looks and feels like a gen

I think precious metal watches are worth buying in Gen as opposed to NWBIG as they offer the correct weight and colour as well as permanence. I feel this represents a very real benefit in buying the Gen

How good are you at spotting a 4 Hz movement vs 3Hz? without the piece on timegrapher? On a moving hand which wears the piece?? If you can, kudos to you!
