Noob v9 just appeared

SEL gap is just an angle, look my gen brand new Batman, I took this pic especially to demonstrate there is always a “right” angle to see a gap.. and there is no gap in my watch other than this pointed out view

I can see tiny gaps on my gen as well if i hold it against a window but that won't be noticeable when wearing.

Only the ugly BP had 0 zero gaps but that sel was a pita to remove )

Yes that's the point, gaps are always there especially if we are nitpicking! And we do a lot lololloll!!! I miss the V6s days

This is from Chazing (Identified by the nail) and it looks to be from the same batch as mine(waiting for it by the letter box atm). Haven't got in my hand to check the SEL but I'll take a chance and say that almost flush SEL V9 is from Ryan's current batch and Ken still got better SEL placement V9s

Just got my QC from Chazingtime.

I just had a question to confirm it’s a V9 and is it just me or the “20” in the bezel crooked?

Green/yellow looking lume must be the lighting? Anything else I might have missed

I accepted the QC just wanted to confirm I got myself the V9 and nothing else looked off. The crystal is not a problem, already ordered a Prof black hole.

watchsmith needs to pop it out and realign it. Not a big deal at all.

Looks pretty good. Biggest thing I caught was the latch on the clasp. Looks like it's crooked and is sitting higher than the clasp on the top side and sitting lower than the clasp on the bottom side.

its the lighting. it would be cool if it where like that(it would be more genlike), cause on the gen the lume is not as white as on our reps.

Thanks brother. I look forward to this one, have a prof black hole crystal on the way and I will do a PPM with whomever has the shortest lead time. Thankfully I think the DW is OK, but if it looks bad in person I will look for a gen. Not sure what else I absolutely need, but let's see how those first mods go.

Mrprof sells the crystals himself, or you can find gen or clarks on ebay. Depends what you want to spend really.
