At least when an eta based watch fails, you can get parts and servicing is readily available. I sent Mike (Misiekped) a message asking him about his servicing of the Yuki movement. I'll be interested to hear what he has to say.
You were quick off the mark with the bracelet change over to rubber, looks superb on the rubber too! I will be ordering the 3135 version as it looks like more attention to detail has been undertaken on the upgrade, especially the xtal height.V6S-3135 crystal sits as a GEN

Hey smoke quick question bro, if the Rehut does turn out to be thicker on the 2836 version would it still be possible to achieve a gen. Crystal height? Perhaps with a smaller gasket?

No it will still sit too high.zocker explained this to me.I thought he was talking crap at first.I said just use a smaller gasket. But that won't give the correct mag or something. It's not garranteed this is an issue yet.but looking at the 2836 v6s and the sa3135 v6s that I've seen the sa version has the xtal in the gen flat position
BTW I have a V1 sa3135 from the first release ,when was that I think in 2010 ? its still running strong! the original stem did break and angus sent me a V2 stem that originally didn't fit but Misiekped made it work , but I would assume that the sa3135 V1 that there using in this V6s come with a stronger stem then the original V1?
Don't understand why is it important to have the 3135 if you want to change the hands, the dial, the DW, and the movement too...???
In every way, 2836 or 3135, you will only use the case, the crystal and the bracelet, no?
You can't use 3135 in a 2836 case?unless you want to snap stems on a daily
BTW ,if anyone gets a sa3135 and it craps out ,the TC 2824 with movement holder/adapter is a great option as it should drop right in !

Sa3135 v1 and v2 are clones of 3135 movement. The a3135 is an Asian eta decorated to look simular to a 3135I understood that the V1 was only an aesthetic mod of the A2836, and that the V2 "sa3135" is fully new, copied piece by piece on the real 3135 (and the pics are evidence), with for example the hands turning clokwise when you turn the crown anticlockwise as per the gen, opposite to a 2836 on which you have to turn the crown clockwise for it...
Do you confirm?
Great idea Duane ??really great idea tc2824 price vs a fully serviced yukki with gen parts no brainer
I knew this would work as I was planning the TC 2824 set up in my SA3135 YM ,when and if it does eventually die , and also you get the TC DWO v4 also! I figured I would mention it as in the end you can have the best of both worlds a proper stem height with the case and a reliable eta based movement
Mate this is seriously good.u have probbly upped the sa3135 sales now lol
