I don't understand why they gone through the hassle of making 2 different cases ?
A proper movement holder to use only the 3135 case would have give better range of options and a even more accurate rep !

There would be a gap between the rehaut and the dial if they used the same case because of the diffy stem height

Anybody knows if the v6s bezel insert and teeth would fit into the v5?

yep! that my point
I think they should have design 1 watch with 2 movements options instead of 2 different watches.

I see your point, esp as far as being cost effective, but i personally wont buy any rep that doesnt have a 2836 in it.....too much hassle to deal with a 2824 for me

Why? i thought they where almost the same except minor alteration on the calendar side and keyless.

well for the most part they are, however now they use the 2824s with the short cannon pinions, and hands have really long tubes on them to correct for the short pinions....try sourcing hands with long tubes.

Now you could swap out the pinions to the taller ones, but like on say the pelagos...where would you find hands for those ? Either with short tubes (nonexistant) or long tubes TD only ....

the newer BPSD with the 2824 poses similar problems, if you want to swap the hands (like to TC) you have to swap the pinions too

no thanks for me

I'm really hoping TC will make Dial and Hands for 116610LN with blue lume, if so we don't need pursue GEN dial and hands any more

I wouldn't hold your breath. He seems much more interested in the non-ceramic models.
