In the process of doing some upgrades to my Noob V4 (CF bezel, transparent gasket, dial swap to panda and upgrading the hand set) and thought I'd share some pics of the V4 bezel vs the CF. Pics were taken in a light box with 5000K LED light. There is a difference, but it is very subtle. The pics give a good representation of the difference, IMO. CF is on the left.

My Noob V4 has just returned home after being in the skilled hands of Nikz19 who, in addition to having installed a gen gasket, new satin finishes, etc., suggested that I replace the Noob bezel with a Cf that he then ordered for me. For this reason I had to wait about a month, but this long wait has paid off. In my opinion Cf bezel is way way better than the Noob one. I immediately had a feeling of great quality especially in the perfection of the engravings and also of course in the visibility of the writings. The difference is especially noticeable in poor light conditions where, unlike the Noob bezel, all the writings and drawings are perfectly visible. For me Cf bezel is absolutely another product category and the differences are more noticeable on the wrist than in the pics.
Thanks Nikz19 for the excellent work done and for advising me to change the Noob bezel.

Its even better than mine because i have v3 hands… v4 have upgraded pinions… im thinking of getting gen dial for my daytona ,little expensive mod but noob hands are so flat

Sorry,yes i meant gen hands,no gen dial not worth,too expensive and noob v4 or arf dial are good enough… gen hands i mean

The platinum filling on the bezel seem to be the biggest upgrade from the V3.

Just completed the CF bezel install, among other things, and I would agree the difference is more dramatic mounted than shown in my side by side comparison. It's interesting how a fairly subtle difference in color tone makes a big difference mounted. Having said that, the Noob V4 bezel is still a very nice option for those not looking for perfection. Pic below is with the CF bezel, translucent gasket (from Ofrei) and upgraded handset. Super pleased with the results.

Do you get the CF bezel from a TD? What is the approx cost for just the bezel? Thanks.

Purchased the CF bezel from RWI member Rubberman for $125 plus shipping. I would check with him as he may have more. I think most TDs can also source, but at a slightly higher price.
