Which points you judge it as V3 not V4?

don't you think the hands on the v4 are black and the hands on a v3 appear chrome in color? If so that would make the above watch a v4...right?

Exactly. V3 were far too thin - that dial was ruined. Now it’s back close to gen.

Exactly. V3 were far too thin - that dial was ruined. Now it’s back close to gen.

I might be wrong but they look too thick now. V3 was certainly too skinny but v2.2 was closer than this. Always one step forward one step back.

Agreed, way too thick, they look ridiculous. The "Daytona" text color doesn't seem any darker either.

The black dial version looks exactly the same.

Yup, I can't see much difference for the black dial, the white one looks like a old dial v1 v2?

What I gathered from some Chinese rep videos is that the v3 "thin dial" is wrong for v3 to start with - apparent some bad batch were made maybe due to v2/v3 "non-thin" dial shortage or a wrong batch being made, but they still get sold as v3 to many.

The supposed v4 key improvements are the bezel (maybe to compete with CF, and claimed to be same caliber now), the pinion (no more hole).

Hence the earlier pics who show the "corrent" sub dial thickness are actually the correct v3, as the pinion hole is still there, instead of the new v4.

Ya, I can't see any chance in Daytona colour between the two versions.
