At least they didn't increase the price on V4. If you already OK with your v3, no need to do anything. If you're looking into getting a Daytona, then I guess V4 it is. Just my 2 cent.

However, if you're one of those .. gotta get closer to Gen and blah blah ... then kept going down the Franken road till you find happiness lol .. johnnydepp can help with his awesome build!

I agree. Especially after seeing pics posted by Zenth , still too shiny. I used to not give a damn about it until a saw a gen a while ago. Not shiny AT ALL. I don't like the white dial, so I guess I'll have to live with that....Or just go for the 116519. Again...Or perhaps the silver 116509 with silver dial. But those SELs...ffs...

Thanks, that's a really telling comparison. Looks like they really butchered the bezel engraving. The Noob V4 has the worst thickness of the lot!

I've just watched this comparison between the white and black version and the subdials appear to be a bit shiny on the black one:

The Silver Sub-dials can all appear different in photos depending on the lighting.

You have to look for the contrast between the shine on the Hands and the shine on the Sub-dials in different photo lighting.
The Sub-dials should have more of a Matte Finish and more contrast with the Shinny Hands, as shown in this Gen picture.

I ordered a Noob Daytona v3, and it seems to be a v4. What do you think?







I like the QC pictures in particular, I have no complaints except the lume which is normal; it is the second QC pictures i receive though as i rejected the first one.

That’s exactly what I was thinking on these new V4s. I kept looking at these photos and a recent QC photo I received and it looks so similar to zenith sized dials
