Hmm, anyway to fix this without going gen?

Tried two ARF bracelets, but both had gaps.
My SEL's are great tho, but these small conor-gaps.. ugh.

But Noob v3's doesn't seem to have it. Mine is v2.2 btw.

They do too... Best option is to do what ubi did on reworking the ARF band for better results :

The entire bracelet is ARF; SELs, clasp and all. The Noob bracelet is definitely a better, tighter fit side to side, but the corner tips where the SEL meets the case (specifically at 5:00 and 11:00) appear to be cut short/blunt, resulting in a small little empty spot/void that is always present. The ARF has nice pointy tips, and they meet the case and follow the curve of the case just perfect.

So, that was part of my motivation to figure out the fit.

I started with the basics; tried exchanging the ends (12:00 side moved to 6:00), tried every springbar I had in my spares.... Shimmed up the underside just a bit... And then I very, very slightly shaved off a bit of the leading edge of the SEL as I noticed that the springbars were ever so slightly bowed when fitted, and the points of the SEL were angled up a bit. Bringing the leading edge in a little helped quite a lot, as it brought the SEL in at the top, and taking off some material here also helped center the SEL (before, one side would sit up against the lug leaving a larger gap on the opposite side). A lot of trial and slow adjusting; have to be careful here as metal can be removed, but cannot be added. The undersides of my lugs are pretty chewed up from the springbar ends making contact after repeated fittings, but I can refinish that if it ends up bothering me :)

Not so much because ARF SELs are narrower than noob so you will fix the corners but you will introduce gaps on the sides of the SELs

Not sure if mine is V3 but I’m happy with it. Ordered just a few days before V3 announced and QC a week or 2 after announcement. Sundials thick compared to my gen but bezel very gen-like.

Bracelet is about 6-7/10 compared to gen, feels feels a bit hollow and with slightly sharper edges. The clasp mid section on this watch is very tight, not sure how to explain it - the chrome middle section that opens up when you open the clasp does not open easily, almost as if it’s over tightened. The small crown clasp that flips up before you can release the bracelet seems too thin, rough and cheap feeling. Almost tempted to buy a spare ARF and see how that compare/mix match parts.

Subdial looks fine to me, watch looks perfect. But it will be perfect if you change the bezel to CF bezel, IMO you will love CF bezel,,,

Hey bro, did you change the strap yourself? Or you need a watch smith for that?

Would like to add a Black Daytona in collection and I'm really in doubt to take another ceramic or the steel version... the black ceramic is growing on me...

It's a good watch but maybe on the small side. My blue gen Omega Seamaster 300 Professional gets more attention.

No way would I pay £11,000 for this and wait 3-5 years, or pay £23,000 to get it on the grey market.

3-5 years, you'd be lucky!
