Yes, try not to focus too much on the little flaws, it blows you away once you have it on the wrist.

I'm loving mine so far:

Bro, I just received my CF bezel and ARF Jubilee bracelet. My turn this weekend when I find time to swop them all in.

So I understand the subdial thing we are taking about ,
is this picture correct ?

So if one would get the QC, one should look for the thin subdial as attached in the picture down below ?
thanks a lot :)

Yes, however I wouldn’t use InTimes image as a reference as that one looks very gen like. Misleading.

Better to use M Scott’s images for QC cross checking which are on page 64. They show an actual thinner sub dial variation which is known as a V2.2 dial. (Still fatter than InTimes image and gen, but it’s fractional)

Gentlemen, in certain angles & lightning environments, even the GEN bezel looks a little dull/faded.

We all know the platinum is not really going to fade, but a picture in certain conditions wont capture* it. (Specially from a crappy cell phone camera....)

Take a picture of a white ceramic dish in the dark (like a kitchen dish where you eat your food).... You know its certainly white, you know its certainly not faded.... However how does the camera capture it in the dark?

I almost feel, sometimes people go on a "witch hunt" on rep forums, over things that don't really exist.

Don't get me wrong, I am fully aware the gen's platinum coating is a little more "striking/vivid", and I know NOOB's looks a little "lifeless" by comparison but that's at 10x. Let's always remember to use common sense.... White things, look dark or "faded" in no light situations.

Yes, that's true. But CF is better than Noob bezel.

I respectfully disagree. The noob 2.2 bezel (like the v7 sub) was way too dark in low light.

I agree that there are many witch hunts in this hobby, but this isn’t one

Hey guys, Just received my Noob V3 116500 with CF bezel installed and its looks stunning! literally the best made rep ever! Looks better in person than in pictures shown everywhere. Take a look:

Now, comparing CF bezel to Noob V3 bezel, the CF bezel is 10x better in soooo man ways! the noob bezel feels life less and faded when comparing to CF. Especially in low light... even in sunlight, the CF bezel shows much more life than noob bezel, take a look:

Low Light:

Sun Light:

Even all the markers, you can see that noob bezel is a lot more gray / faded, CF just looks clean:

All in all, I definitely recommend getting the CF bezel. Not sure if noob bezel will fade over time but at brand new, it all ready looks a little faded and lifeless compared to CF... SELs are amazing on the watch, clasp is good and the red in daytona doesnt seem too bright and orange through the naked eye... i would say a tad brighter but not orange... I love this watch. I am about to get it serviced so its running perfectly. Would definitely recommend this watch to anyone :)

Wow now I'm paranoid about receiving my noob v3 without CF bezel. I'm trying to tell myself that it won't be that obvious once it's on the wrist.

I gotta agree, when i changed over to a CF bezel, it was a HUGE change. The CF really comes to life in all light environments, especially in sunlight, the platinum has a spackle the painted bezels just doesn't have.

And that is some beautiful SEL´s @[email protected]
