Gentlemen,
One last time: The "thinner" subdials of the V3 black dial presented on the intime website are nothing more than a lightning effect.
I have talked with Ryan (from Intime), he told me the ONLY change for the V3s (black or white) is the new BEZEL. The dial is exactly the same as the V2.2. There was NO change in the V3 dial....
Don't you think ALL of the TDs would be HEAVILY advertising a real V3 dial improvement if there was in fact a new dial (for either the white or black dial, but specially for the black)?
That being said, those subdials actually look like the V1 - V2 subdials..... Instead of the (imaginary) step forward some people think they made with the V3 dials, they are actually taking a step backwards in some cases....
We already know that the Noob V3 116500 dials are unchanged from the "V2.2" version.
It's really very simple if you do a little research...
- The Noob V1 and V2 116500 Daytonas both had sub-dials that were too thick.
- In January 1999 Noob updated both the Black and White 116500 dials with thinner sub-dials which we called the "V2.2".
- The White Panda dial has always been more popular, and Noob's old stock of thicker sub-dial V1-V2 White dials sold out and disappeared quickly.
- The problem is that apparently Noob still has some old Black thicker sub-dial V1-V2 dials that are sometimes still being used in newer "V2.2" and V3 watches.
That's why I say that you have to check your V3 QC pictures carefully to make sure that you don't get an old V1-V2 Black dial.
