I got this qc on Wednesday. Awful. Not an issue for me because I can change the dial but it’s as bad as a v1 dial.

Enjoy these amazing watches, this looks original enough to me for $700, on the wrist is really great.. please excuse the background, cannot take pictures outside for now, settle with the dirty sink pls!

Just because people on a rep forum, looked at some online pics the can’t PROVE to me that that the O is wrong.

Sorry but there are simply too many gen variations (some super rare and not on google images) so who is to say the O is wrong?

Brother!!! How are you mate?? Long time, hope you and family doing great !!!
It has been a long time since I got a rep, have got the gen fever for more than a year now and own a genuine ceramic Daytona (black one).. you are right, on the wrist this is a genuine watch, it always depend who is the wearer, status etc.. it is only dependable on who cares to check our watches, most of the cases no one cares lolol!
I am very much blown away of the quality of dial markers, subdials and hands. They look genuine on the wrist, there is a 3D effect on the dial that was not previously there (V2 and previous), there is no much to ask now from them, obviously the feel of the genuine bracelet and clasp is superior to the Noob, that’s why the cost an arm and a leg nowadays! I am more than fine with this V3, I know what I was expecting and it’s spot on. Take care

Just received a v3 and Arf for a build straight from a TD and the noob doesn’t have the thick v3 subs or skinny zenith sh!t being shown recently.

V3 - latest v3 - Arf (old) - Arf (latest)



At first glance this Noob dial isn’t looking bad. Will check it out properly later and post better pics. If someone could put them side by side with a gen that would be great. Seeing different batches of ARF and now noob dials recently.

Okay red1 , this is how it all sorts out...

As you already know, ARF had Sub-dials that were too thin for a long time with their V1 and V2 116500 Daytonas.
At some point, with no revision change, they made the Sub-dials thicker to be the the same thickness as a Gen as shown below...

The problem is that their latest release is using a batch of dials with the old, too thin Sub-dials as shown above and here...
Again, you where the first to point out this problem with the latest batch from ARF and I'm just illustrating it here.

Regarding the Noobs...

As we all know, Noob's Daytona Sub-dials were too thick with the release of the V1 and the V2.
Noob fixed the Sub-dial thickness without a formal revision change, but we started calling it a V2.2.
Now Noob apparently has a third dial released as a V3 with Sub-dials that are way too thin.

The Problem is that Noob has produced V3 116500 Daytonas with ALL three of these Sub-dial thicknesses at different times.
Getting the correct dial seems to be "luck of the draw" now.

I have the black Daytona noob v2.2 and want to get the white now. Looks like it is better to wait intil this version mix up stabilized and produce right dials ?

Looks like they put the wrong bracelet on this watch. I've never seen anything that bad before on a Daytona

In case this still interests some one here.
I got a Daytona shipped by puretime with loose endlinks and a gap between the bracelet and the watchcase. (What I’ve highlighted to TD when I got the QC pics, they sent new pics in a different angle).
So I was going back and forth with puretime. They now try to tell me this is „normal“ and they have sold many watches like this already.
I must say, i see this as a hobby and love when people mod their watches to awesomeness. Though, 750$ for a watch with loose endlinks? None of the watches in this thread has loose endlinks.
I am feeling scammed big time by puretime. This is crazy!

I had issue with loose endlinks and my TD sent me new springbars for no cost,which fixed issue
it was toro bravo and watch was arf daytona

Thank you! My cuffs are fine but this is a shirt that was gifted to me and it’s slightly smaller than I normally wear, due to quarantine I didn’t have my shirts dry cleaned lololol
Watch is very good and I am enjoying it
