Hi guys,

I received my v3 daytona a few days ago in great shape from jtime! I don’t intend to wear it in water and los angeles is dry 90% of the time. Should I still take it to get water tested? Does it need to be lubricated? I want to keep it in working condition for long as possible and don’t know any good watch guys near westwood los angeles. The prices most of them charge to do simple things is alot. Like $10 per link removed or $20 flat rate to change a battery. Any suggestions or helpful advice would be appreciated.

You don't need to draw lines to see the difference though. Arf v2 or the early batch of Arf dials which has thicker sub dials are way better, no contest. Noob are just playing with everyone right now, it's how this business works. They pretty much nailed the sub size with the 'v2.2' as some like to call it (only issue was the actual quality of the print) but have reverted back to something inbetween v1 and v2.

Recommendation with any watch is to change the seals every 18-24 months. This will help keep it in good condition. You don't need to rush but if you plan on keeping it, get it serviced. The will ensure everything is lubricated correctly and help with longevity of the parts. Right now you have moving parts constantly running with no lubrication.

How much do one of these lubrication services cost? I’m willing to pay but also don’t want to get gypped:)
Do all reps come without lubrications?

I bought an ARF but indeed the gap was too big. Plus the difference in quality with the noob wasn't so big...

My noob bracelet is really not good and I need to buy another one, I want to go ARF route due to this experience.

Mate,

come on. You think that putting two different pictures side by side can shows a difference smaller than mm. This is definitely not real thing.

If you take the time to study these watches, over time, the differences become easy to see.

If you take two high resolution pictures and carefully level, overlay, and then align them in Photoshop, you can compare them accurately and clearly illustrate these differences.

Or you could just take the word of Members who have compared the actual watches in person, side by side.

Having said that, I don’t think it will be easily notice when just a glance on someone’s wrist. So, wear it with confidence everyone!

All depends how familiar you are with what you're looking at. I see these dials all the time, so when I see a v1 or v3 it just looks wrong. If someone had one on their wrist standing or sitting next to me I could tell instantly. Someone wearing a v2 noob or arf there's no way I could tell without looking closely.

arf V1 are you able to call it? To me thin counters bother me more than fat ones :))))

Mine is still on it's way but I'm considering to service it right away. Does anybody know how much a service goes for if nothing is broken/f***** up? I did some research but found numbers from 250 Euro to 500 Euro which seems odd.

I never serviced a rep. If it works don't touch it.

It’s true it’s a chinese replica, but what we’re talking about is an automatic chronograph caliber w/ column wheel and vertical clutch.
Service ain’t gonna be cheap I guess

Yes you can see the difference but at least with the arf v1 the quality of the dial and print is good. The noob dials have poor quality print and terrible sub dials (apart from v2 and early v3)

I wonder which dial is the best for the 116500 white. Noob V2.2 or ARF V2? It seems to me that the proportions of the Noob V2.2 are better than the ARF V2.

I will post pictures of the actual batch noob v3 when it arrives these days, i think noob has a lot of quality differences in their dial production.
Noob V2.2 is just a mythos, arf v1 or v2 both better than any noob dial...
