hope this is not a stupid question but does the 4.1 come with the wooden box or is that at an additional cost? i know the box comes at a additional cost of $120 but do they throw it in when u get the watch?

Is it just me or do all of them look to have some markers misaligned? I rejected the first one presented to me and the one i got was better...but none of them seem to be perfectly aligned.
No, rep watches does not comes with watch box. It have to be bought separately.

From what I've gather, the main issue people are having is that the bezel screws are not recessed.
If that is the only issue that's pretty darn good, however, has anyone had any luck asking for PT to recess those screws prior to shipping?

So i wanna say something about the AP Diver 4.1 too
I got an Brand new Diver 4.1 from an Friend these Days for do some Bezel Work on it... He has Try to get out an Scratch... But i told People ever! Don´t use these Brush Sticks! They suck a lot...
Ok so far the Scratch was on the Bezel so it was Time to disassemble the Watch...
I will make a little Review in the next few days about the Work etc.
So to make it Short a few Points are good, some are Bad...
Good ones:
1. The new Bezel insert looks really great! It looks more Gen like as on the v3.5
2. The Lume is for Standart really Great! But the Color is Different to SuperLumia
3. The AR on Crystal has changed. It is an Tick better then on the v3.5
4. Hands are Bigger now more Gen like...
Bad ones:
1. First at all didn´t notice at Open, are the Backcase Screws. If you Close the Case you´ll see the Screws are more then BAD! You can Screw it only an half Round and then you over tight it.
2. Under the Bezel Screws are the Gummy Rings, that is ok! But the Screw Quality is very poor, you haven´t an chance to get the Screws are all to the same hight with the Rings.
3. Movement Holder isn´t the best! the Movement is more loosen
4. Gasket of the Saphir is more then poor Quality
5. Bezel insert Ring isn´t really tight! Something has changed on the Gears
6. Dial on Friends Watch wasn´t really nice! There are Glue on the Markers and massiv Finger Prints on the Dial and Hands.
7. Hands has Micro Scratches
So my impression of the v4.1 was... The Main flaws on the v3.5 are fixed, but the Complete Quality of the Watch isn´t soooo good as the v.3.5
I think the best will be:
Grab an v3.5 and change the Inner Bezel Ring (Tachy) and Hands from v4.1 + the Crystal...
and you have an really nice AP Diver...
If you wanna have the Ultimate (Perfect) make the following changes
Diver v3.5 put the Tachy and Hands from v4.1 on it.
Build in an LowBeat Movement
give them an Relume Job
and an Professinal Double AR on Crystal and Cyclop
Then you have an Really Super Rep.

The most common issue to find wrong with the AP Diver are the misaligned markers and also how they align to the bezel lume.
Also, bezel lume is often sloppy, particularly the 5 2 on the bezel.
There are good examples, but like most reps, it is hit/miss.
Noticeable improvements over my 3.5: Lume intensity, lume application, bezel numbers (even though the 5 is not as good as I had hoped. A handful of members have received really good 5') .. oh well.
The one I received has perfectly aligned hour markers. They were a tad off and misaligned, which had been bugging me on my 3.5 once I was aware of it.
One thing that caught my eye is that the inner bezel is no longer matte. Mine appears shiny and a tad polished
Contrary to popular belief it doesn't automatically come with recessed screws. It depends on the assembly station and the 5-year-old who's working on your watch at the end of the day, and how good they are with tools.

I wouldn't hold my breath. The moment demand increases they start rushing these out the door it seems like and the quality goes down. The initial pieces with the new bezel looked awesome. I'm contend with mine but I've seen a lot worse of the so-called 4.1
No it isn't. It's just frustrating seeing that some of the assemblers seem to be really good at what they do and are thorough .. and others appear to be either in training or all thumbs
Hi All, I just got QC pics from Sora from shinewatch, I'm not sure if I can post the link here. Could someone help me with it. So far, from what I see, I think the 5o'clock and 7o'clock are not aligned properly. Bezel screws are not really recessed(not so bothered with that). That's kinda all that I can find. Could anyone help me please?
One quick question, the crystal on the 4.1 noob is actually AR coated on the inside side? Or it is only advised on the product description? Because I can't distinguish the right side when remounting it on the bezel..
