Just order the noob, i asked my TD if this one has the improved movement. He said it was a improved movement but i saw some bad news it is the same movement as the 3187. Does the improved arf movement fit in this case?

There is no stock improved movement for the Noob, it's always been the 2824 CHS timebomb.

You don't want to use an ARF SH3186 but rather the VR3185. It will fit with a custom movement holder but will need gen or gen-spec hands, or some careful modding of the Noob hands that few people can do. Cost of the new movement and hands/hands mod including labor can run $300, double that if using gen hands.

OMG, such cool watches out there i wish i have a pair of this beauty. Idk why but it seems to the that electronic models like apple watch kill the whole charm of watches, cause now it`s not a necessity, but more like accessory. All of us have phones and we can look at them to know what time is it. Besides, if you want to have rolex you have to be really rich person or at least lucky enough to hit the jackpot

Hmm not so good news i guess... my td emaild me this
i asked can you confirm that this has the improved movement? Answer: yes it is. After i wired the money i emaild this when i said it wos a time bomb movement

time bomb ?
seems all the customers think the clone movement is very very cheap quality after on guy post the thread on the forum about the clone movement . and many factories cut the clone price in these days .
this clone movement is same quality as the 2836 movement .
regards.

He's defending clone movements, when this isn't a clone movement. And the idea that the modified 2824 is comparable to the 2836 is crazy. Ditch the TD and maybe tell the mods which one is BSing a forum member this badly.

If you ordered the Noob you have the time bomb movement and not the Rolex clone movement. Don't fret you may be lucky and the.movement may hold up. Just set time and date once as per the sticky and then avoid using the independent hour hand to set the date

You can ID your movement by determining two simple things.

1. Is it an ETA movement?

2. Is the hour hand on the bottom of the stack?

If the answer to both those questions is yes, the movement is the 2824 CHS timebomb, that is now and has always been in all Noob V10 GMTs, and in all GMF V2 CHS's. GMF also made a V2 2836 ICHS, Noob has not made a 2836 ICHS since V8.

If the answer to either of those questions is no, it's not a timebomb movement and further investigation is warranted.

It's all very easy to determine by just looking at pics of those two things. Post pics of your watch in question. More than "one guy on the forum" will tell you the truth.

TDs (and their agents) are not watchmakers or movement experts. They know only what the factory or their boss tells them about a watch. They are (perhaps deliberately) sometimes vague, wrong, or misleading when listing movement specs even on webpage ads. Learn how to ID the movements for yourself.

This is how to do that

It is in some parts my own fault. After this forum was hacked 1 or two years ago i aind thar actif anymore. I did get one of loco louies two tone subs dough. After that i had to much time for work. Sometimes i read a little bit. I read something about the new movement that are relible. I saw the noob on the TS's site with the movement 3285. Now my last gmt was a 3187 it broke. So i thought it was the improved movement. Not reading any more on the forum about the watch. I hope it wil hold. If not i will search good watchmaker in holland/belgium. Hopfully he can fix it.

I keep mine on a watch winder to avoid touching the jumping hour hand. Something that I don't do with other watches but seems warranted for these given all the into on the forum about the potential failure.

This is quite literally why I bought a watch winder. Because I'm going to pick one of these up eventually, and I'd rather just rack my nerves on the first wind and then not touch it EVER AGAIN until that movement fix kit is released ????

joined the club, I swapped in a BP dial hands and ICHS movement though. Good lookin watch for sure.

That is sure a nice looking watch! Where did you get your BP dial hands and movement? Also curious why you didn’t use VR3185 movement with the associated hands

I bought this noob m2m with a 2836 installed but the hands were mismatched, so I just ordered a complete BP Pepsi from perfect clones and had the dial hands and movement swapped into the noob and swapped that movement into the BP and listed it for sale. I went 2836 for reliability.
