Noob has the red wrong! If you do not see it, it means that you do drugs. Or you should go to the doctor to treat yourself because you are color blind. Looking for photos with reflections where Noob can look like gen, but in reality Noob is red / brown while Gen is red / strawberry.

I had Noob in my hands. We immediately see that it is a rep.

You don’t have to look far to noticed the mk3 versions are all coming out dark, very dark. Already told you no rep will ever be like gen...and noob is the Best right now...Still wondering where your best Pepsi option, other than gen is.....?????

Yes you are right. But I would like a version with fewer errors ... it's a watch that I really want. I'm on the list for gen but before 1 year I have no hope of getting it

Bro, I’ve been on that list since it came out. These AD are just playing games, which some are terrible. I’ve only done crystal and gmf dial and mine doesn’t look too bad, noob wise. I actually have more fun messing with modding than trying to chase the real deal. I’m not going to blow up the movement and so I just adjust the hour hand...if it does blow somehow...I’ll swap over the new movements from vrf or ARF as a project. Still trying to source gen insert from my contacts..but it’s going to take some time.

I had the mk1 a month after it came out and picked up the Tudor gmt the same day and hated the blue and red of the Rolex but I’ve been told by my ad it will be several years before I get chance of another! The Daytona list is shorter!!
I’ve had the noob and actually like the colour hue and would prefer a gen that way as it looks more classy!

botsyboy for sure nice picts man..definately an MK1.. How much did you have to spend in order to get Pepsi at AD, what did you do, or who do you know lol? Hook a brother up..I guess Ive been dealing with a bigger AD group, "Mayors", and they are playing this game ever since this watch came out. Ive been on a Hulk list also and finally got one and I won't pay over MSRP, that would not be ideal for me since I do flip here and there. Every time I walk in there to mingle and see whats been in so far..they try to get me trade in my Batman and Hulk. in fact, I've been offered 12.5K for my batman, but...I'd have to buy something I do not want. Here's my latest purchase..wish it was the Pepsi..

The transition line is unacceptable. Was planning to reject any GMF where it wasn’t perfect. Seen some good examples. What is noob doing if not gluing two pieces together? They can make a two color ceramic insert?

Are you worried about noob’s movement? I’d prefer incorrect hand stack for reliability, so wish that was an option with noob.

How’s the jubilee? I’m more into oyster but will get jubilee since it’s model correct and I have plenty of oyster already.

Yes, I was going to go with GMF and buy a Noob insert, but you can't get a noob insert alone. I was going that route because it would be cheaper..trust me I am not trying to go over $1000 for a rep. Thats when I swapped over to the Noob and GMF dial, just because the markers bothered me on the Noob and I can buy the GMF dial, fat on the 12 and 18 markers, but really can't see unless you have a gen on hand. Im not too worried about the time bomb movement. I don't plan on messing too much with the hour hand when swapping time. I have a gen Batman and I never used the time zones. I've used the bezel or my iPhone to tell different time zones and simply..you forget sometimes..

The jubilee bracelet is good. You have to soak the clasp in baby oil over night, as it is tight, but once done..smooth like butter in the action. Very comfortable and well made.

Now, the VRF and ARF are out with their new movement, I can hear the angels voices in the background....!!!!!. I've contacted a couple dealers on the movements already but none can source them alone, yet. But i have a hunch that these new movements may be able to just drop on in..in fact ive seen a guy here who dropped a gen movement into a noob and he added a movement holder, don't quote me on it..

the ultimate rep Pepsi would be...

VRF base (with new movement), GMF dial (because its the only one available, mine had terrible lume applied), rep hands, Noob pepsi insert (best available right now), and gen crystal..It would be the white gold version. If you have to source the jubilee bracelet then it puts you in the noob pricing.

Or wait until VRF or ARF comes out with Pepsi--took ARF over 2 years to even come out with a GMT..and VRF (batman has a terrible insert).

Or Noob watch, gen crystal..GMF dial, and look to drop in the new VRF movement.

Options are very open and new at this point..

I’ve been a customer with my ad for over 30 years buddy and bought many watches from them so have a good relationship with them. I sold the Pepsi the day after picking it up for a nice premium which more than paid for the Tudor gmt! I always get the warranty cards too! I’m in the UK by the way. I’m down for a hulk but will most likely be the newer movement version I guess.

Thanks for sharing. uK is very hard to source from there, I’ve heard. Unfortunately, I moved in the last couple of years and so my newer and previous AD are not able to source any Pepsi’s soon enough. My previous one gets two a year. Very small AD....and the major one I deal with here...we’ll.too many mouths to feed into. They don’t even take names anymore.and laugh when you ask about them. Hell, they don’t even take names for DJ.s. A game I stopped playing.

I’m sure you made a pretty penny..could buy two gens after that. Let’s see what the down turns bring but for now..the Noob will do. How do you like the Tudor? I can walk into an AD and buy one but I’ve heard horror stories on the reliability of the date skipping.

I sold the first one but then bought another which had the problem with date change. Sent back to Rolex London and fixed after 3 weeks and works perfectly now. It’s a cracking watch for the price!

Wow, that’s one watch that does not get enough credit. Very nice brother! Love the old school, vintage 6542 coin edge bezel, pretty dial, and unique snowflake hands. Tempting...did RSC ever tell you what was the issue?
