NOOB Pepsi GMT 126710 BLRO mini review

If you have seen the gen in the flesh and not just in pictures then the red colour is an easy tell on all 3 versions that Rolex have so far produced. That said it’s a rare watch in genuine form so not many will be calling you out. Noob have done an excellent job of the other details and finish though.

Agreed, it’s like the hulk insert. Reps will Never compare to gen...more like a hobby to create something you like. Rare will you see it in the wild.

What other makers do a BLRO, Maybe another dial option than GMF ?

DJF also makes a BLRO (126719, no coronet at 6). Also, the dial on the BLRO is same as the BLNR.

Look like they have the same thing as the noob , 6 and 9 too wide.

gMF dial is great and more accurate but the lume application sucks..looks like a blind person applied the lume. The noob has much more of an even application on lume. Too bad the marking are just too big.

Looks good bro. Sorry about the gmf dial. Think you just got a bad dial. I have one coming in. If I don’t use it, if it looks better than yours you got dibs on it if you want it. I may be doing a gen marker swap.

I think there was only 3 makers...both by GMF, metal painted insert and the current glued together ceramic one..and finally the noob.

There’s supposed to be a BP dial (waiting to see if I can still get one). Apologies, I thought the dial was the reference!

You can't get just the insert that's the whole point

The insert does play a big role in the tell for me. There are other tells too, yes, agreed. Dial markings are my biggest tell...my eyes zoom right to it. bTW is your picture meant to trick us? Both look like reps to me at a quick glance.

I am picky, very picky when it comes to Rolex but the insert transition is a non issue for me. Like I said, it’s just a rep forum thing. Your eyes zoom to the blue/black transition because you’re looking at pic comparisons. But I get how different things bother different people. The bright white lume on ARF watches is hideous to my eyes lol

Very true buddy...I’m still amaze as the quality just gets better and better...I look back to a couple of years ago and most of those watches in 2015 looks like child’s play compared to now...what. A difference

Just my 2cents, but those transitions are barely noticeable even in that blown up picture. And I feel you about the left justified datewheel. I just got a Noob YM and some numbers are fine, but the 20s are so left that the "2" is sometimes not even fully in the date window.

I've seen other members talk about a left justified date wheel on recent noobs too unfortunately.

That justified date window would bother me but it could just be a cyclops effect. I would ask the TD for a few more pics under different angles

You really should open a new thread for QC issues.

Your date is not as left justified as it appears in that photo. Noob DWO's won't vary much at all between samples anyway.

Look at the cyclops borders first. More border on one edge = more white space right next to it. It's an optics angle issue. Get one of your own watches with a cyclops and test it out or see this post.

Wow that Gmf lume is the worst. Looks like I picked a bad day to pay for one, lol. Lume kit next on the list.
