You're very welcome, [MENTION=100102]PAM1983[/MENTION] It certainly fools me when I wear the Noob! It looks like the real thing, feels as great around the wrist, ticks like it (except for the power reserve, which is not a big deal) and I know that I'll be able to get it serviced without a problem (unlike the 'super clone' P-3000) and could even get certain parts upgraded if needed. And as cheap as it is, what's not to like? We're talking 1/50 of the price (or more)...

i just scratched the glass of my PAM372, it's not deep but i can see it and that's bother me.
the glass is in plexi for the PAM372, and i wanted to know if there is a way to reduce or remove the scratches from one way or another? or even if it is possible to replace it easily either with the same plexi model or with a glass model.

You can always replace the glass mate, try to ask from TD see if they can sources it for you. But before you do that, why don't you try to remove the scratch by yourself using a polywatch (you can buy the polywatch from the bay or amazon).

Hey guys, just got my QC pics and they look pretty good to me. On pic 4, I see something above the 3. Is that just a speck of dust or can it be inside the movement? Would appreciate any advice if I'm missing anything else.
I snapped some quick shots of the latest Noob and latest R-series gen. Unfortunately the lighting was subpar; I'll have to do this again at a later time... I hope this helps.
The Noob is on a 26/26 DiStefano David (left), while the gen is on a 26/22 OEM Assolutamente. Both are have a plexi crystal.
The Noob has a power reserve of 58 hours and 40 minutes; the gen has 81 hours and 25 minutes.
I figured I'd throw the KW 605 in the mix for the last pic... For a KW/gen 605, take a look at Evora's excellent comparison.
All in all, it's an excellent rep on the wrist (I won't discuss the movement difference but the A6497 is a rock-solid movement). As I stated before there is a slight difference in the "LUMINOR PANERAI" color on the dial, but this could be due to differences between series (the Noob is based on an N-series vs my R-series gen).
Any chance you have taken pics with better lighting? Also how is the engraving on the side of the case between each lug rep vs gen? Is it the same or close to it?

Just got my first round of QC pics and am going to request another. To me, it looks like the machining for the jewel slot just to the left of "Swiss Made" was off as there is not frame around the entire circle on the plate. Thoughts? How does the rest of it look?

hi guys, after reading the forum for the past week. I just ordered with puretime the noob 372. reason for buying is because i am not sure if a 372 fits and i don't wanna drop serious money on the gen and realised i can't fit so having rep as a test drive is a good start for me, especially the attractive price for a well made rep.
the first piece had a bloated "E" on the logo
the second piece had rust on the min hand and the movement plates has blue ink stains.
this is the 3rd qc piece they sent me, i would say its flawless. can anyone spot anything else?
I have confirmed with them already anyway, so i am here to share. The time is running at less than +/-3 secs a day

I reckon the printing in "Panerai" is a little off, especially the E. (circled in red).

Well I have to say I bought two pieces 372 Noob - one on the end of last year and the second one this March. The inscription looks to me different - on left side are letters thinner (March batch) and on right hand side thicker (December 2016 batch.
Even the letters seems to me have different proportions, but it could be because of font thickness.

I think the one on the left has the better looking fonts (i.e. more gen looking). The right one seems to be alittle like mine, alittle too fuzzy looking around the edges. The left one is alot "cleaner" looking.
Anyways they will be sending me another watch for QC, will report back.
