Different how? It's sad they can't get that right on the white dial, it's such a gorgeous watch. I wear my polar exp 2 a lot. I get compliments all the time. The lume on my v1 polar matches spot on from hands to markers. Can I ask peter what TD you used? And how is the date wheel alignment?

Why not just get it relumed peter? It's still a great watch other than the dial color and lume. I'm still going to keep mine if the lume is off, not that big of a deal to me, and if someday it does bother me it will be shipped off to cwazy for him to do. Yah, I agree mikfin, I don't know why they can't get things right like that. and it really bothers me when they had it right on the previous version but then on the next version that is supposed to be better they mess it up. Kind of disappointing. Still a beauty though. and something that nobody in your life will ever notice but you.
I found my v1 white to be gen like. He'll even went to a watch smith that does mostly rolex and he said that these copies were getting so good that he might have to start opening up the watch to make sure it's a real rolex and not be held liable later. This v2 white leaves much to be desired

v1 white had several more flaws than the black and still does with this new version. The dial is still the same color and the lume is off, but other than that the clasp is better than the v1 and the bezel is now right which is huge, because that thick font on the v1 bezel was an eyesore.. But other than that I don't think anything else has been improved on the white. The lume is off, although it looks like it could be off on the black too, but I should find that out shorty here when mine arrives. the black is definitely the one to get if you are looking for which one is closer to gen. Most everything is spot on on the black. Now with that said, I have noticed that in a lot of the pics the datewheels are left justified now. Just makes you wonder where the hell that come from since it wasn't an issue with the v1's. I made sure to tell my dealer to get me one with a centered datewheel and he did an awesome job finding me one and did it fast too. In my opinion I would have left the lume alone. It was good before, very good, and actually it is still good. It will shine all night long, but it might be a little mismatched from the hour markers to the hands. for me I don't care about that too much, but they should have done a better job with that. but black is definitely the better one by far as far as close to gen. Now with that said, I still think the white one is a very nice watch. It's excellent. Other than that lume and the dial color being wrong it's spot on to the gen too basically. The lume can be changed by a good competent lume guy like cwazy for a reasonable price, and then you have yourself a great one. Nobody will ever know the dial is the wrong color unless your holding it side by side with the gen. and how often is that going to happen?
The ONLY flaw is the lume in my eyes. Rest of the watch is awesome. I swapped the V2 bracelet onto my V1 as its better. -- the Rolex letting is far most crisp and the bracelet closes properly.

I thought I am the only one concern about the crown etched. But it is really hard to see it though.

You sir, made me regret that I should have gone with the black version. But all my watches are black, I need a different color.

Nope. that was a common misconception that I have no idea where it started THX. the black dial specs is that it is supposed to be a satin finish. I can say for sure that mine matched the gen perfectly because I had it right next to a gen. People were misinformed about that. In certain lighting it will appear more glossy, and in other lighting it will look more flat or matte, but It was and is correct being a satin finish.
I did some extensive reviews, and I studied this watch from top to bottom very closely. The black was and still is the watch to get if you are wanting the closest to gen. Not to say that the white version isn't good. It's still a nice watch, but still more flaws than the black. If you want my v1 black dial you're going to have to fight my dad over it. lol. because he has it.
I was originally wanted V1, but it was out of stock, so notify Ryan to notify me when the stock available. I sent in the money with unaware about the lume flaw. But beside the lume issue, the quality of this watch is impeccable, especially the bracelet. If this thread was never created, I would have thought it is the perfect rep. ever.

I really don't think anyone will call you out on it. and when people do that it's tacky anyway. just rude. I would wear it proud. It's a beautiful watch.
I have the v1 with a gen polar dial, I'm looking to buy the v2 as the case looks better. The bezel numbers on my v1 are too thick and the clasp logo is poor. Anyone selling a v2 let me know
The gen dial is amazing, it is white in colour and the font is thinner and sharper, the orange is strong contrast. The lume is actually greyish colour not pure white
