Arg this is such a beautiful piece.. Is anyone bothered by the fact that the hands are stacked incorrectly, or do you just not notice it at all?

Lke 99.999% of imperfections on our watches, it will only be noticed on close examination by someone who knows ther Rolexes. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. The only downer is the bezel paint coming off.

And following my recent experiences with the secs at 12 7750 movement, I prefer one which does't have added bits to convert to a proper handstack.

Mind you this is the Explorer's second movement, since the first ceased operation. This may of course have had something to do with the times I forgot to take it off when using a power saw on trees last summer...

Good to hear about the hand stack. I am pretty sure I will be getting one of these soon.

If you ask any gen owner about a handstack they won't have a clue what you are talking about. Neither will an AD because it is irrelevant to a gen owner. To them the hands are the hands. It isn't anything that they even think of or know to look at. That means no gen owner will ever notice yours.

We are the only people on the planet who are concerned about it because our hands are in different order. The only people who will notice the hands are other rep guys, and then you have an opportunity to make a new friend.

Jesus another one of these guys???

Did you guys have no other Hobbys? As run to the next AD or Watchmaker and show up your cheap Rep?!

If you show it to every Watchmaker and have foul them, then you didn't show it to me lol...

All I can say is same as in the other Thread... You show it to Watchmaker or Watchsmiths (ADs) how ever they call them self :D
That exchange every second day an Batterie on an cheap Watch... They never had an GEN Rolex in there Hand... Maybe they have hear about the Company Rolex... Maybe they Watched Dallas in the 80s lol and know it from there...

The 216570 rep isn't a bad looking Watch but you can foul with that Watch unknowing guys but not more...
Also not with the v2 there are many flaws on that Watch... I can spot the reps of the 216570 also from an distance of 2 meters...

Sel Fit isn't good
Crystal is totally wrong
Daylight Lume is now better on the v2
Rehaut engrave totally wrong there is no GEN with Matrix Rehaut
Orange Color isn't 100% the same
The shape of the Hands are wrong
DateWheel Font wrong font and size

need more ???

Clasp wrong
CGs are not soooooo good

but all in all an Perfect Watch and every AD would be foul by these flawless Quality :D

Guys please!!!! Don't go with Reps to ADs and ask them for inspect it... If you feel like you must do that... Then go to the biggest known AD in your Town and show them then the Rep...
That makes sence! Because after you showed them the Watch you wouldn't do that again...

If you go out of the Shop with an Big Red Head...

How many watchsmith actually work on genuine Rolex? I think very little, especially modern Rolex.

I only send my gen to authorized Rolex service center (which then gets shipped to Dallas center for service).

I do have a lot of hobbies watchmaking is just my job. I just brought it in to work for shits and giggles, because I was so impressed.

When I handed it off to my friends/fellow watchmakers I wasn't like examine this watch of course a watchmaker could tell it fake if you are like, "is this watch real or fake." An hand it to them and then they check it out. I just saying this watch has the feel of an extremely nice watch so when I'm like hey check out this Rolex, they grab it for a second look at it and hand it back, it impossible to tell. I have also been to mayors and had the gen out and compared it with some of the salesman. (They were friend of mine also, oviously I woundnt suggest this.)

bottom line is this watch feels like any other 5 k watch , no sharp edges, polished nicely, brushed beautifully, and has some weight to it. The level of craftsmanship is up there for sure. Compare this to any tissot, or Hamilton and this is nicer.

.

i work at a swatch service center specializing on omega, not some mall battery changing kiosk.

i don't know why my post would receive such a negative response , when all I'm trying to do is persuade any people that might be on the fence about the watch that it's worth every penny.
