Noob Daytona vs ARF Daytona

Red font for Daytona is slightly different
Sub-dials are less shiny on 116500
Rolex spacing is slightly different on the 116500, more spaced out on the 116500

of course, just check out the position of the T of the OSTER below the ROLEX....
also, the subdials are not shiny......
So converting a 116520 with a ceramic bezel is ok but does not meet the gen 116500. I built one but I will use the dial in a 116520 and use a ARF 116500 dial in that built. Gen dials, if you get one, are 3k and I will not pay that.

Thank you both for these helpful replies...

So from what I have read, the following would be true for Noob SS Daytona Sub-dials?

- White 116520 SS Bezel is the best as the Silver Sub-dials look closest to Genuine.

- White 116500 Ceramic is okay but the Black Sub-dials are a little too wide.

- Black 116520 SS Bezel Silver Sub-dials are also too wide, but the contrast on a Black back ground makes them look worse.

- Black 116500 Ceramic look the worst, compared to Gen, as the Sub-dials are too wide and too shiny.
So even if the Sub-dials were the correct size, being too shiny would make then appear larger on a black background.

there is no updated on a thin case back from ARF , your dreaming ...
They need to use the old caseback because of the rotor which is sticked to this fake bridge which NOOBODY
really care about.Have not seen anybody putting a glas caseback on this watch.

thats so temperatrue!

guru Was it hard to shape the dial? Were there any challenges because of the material? Did you use a lathe?

no problem to shave the dial with a lathe.

ARF or noob, which has the most accurate gold color?
I've heard good things about the noob gold but nothing about ARF.

Now i have both. The Noob and the ARF. Tbh, the pushers on the Noob i used just once in case of testing.
The bracelet and overall feeling of the ARF is just like Gen.
The Rotor was a bit noisy, so i silenced the movement with a few drops of Oil.
And for time measurement i use my iPhone:).
But anyway the Noob movement is pretty good.

So converting a 116520 with a ceramic bezel is ok but does not meet the gen 116500. I built one but I will use the dial in a 116520 and use a ARF 116500 dial in that built. Gen dials, if you get one, are 3k and I will not pay that.

Correct me if I'm wrong... ARF produces a different Black Dials for the 116500 and 116520...

But Noob uses the same Black Dial for their 116500 and 116520 models?

So are you planning to build a 116500 Noob with a 116500 ARF Black Dial?
If yes, I will really look forward to seeing the end result of that project.

You are right
ARF dials are correct for for each version
NOOB is using the 116500 dial in the 116520 which is not correct
Attached the ARF dials for the 116500 built

The arf black dial for 116500 is not like gen!
116500 white and 116520 black and white are correct.
The black 116500 is like fake!!!
