If there is movement Try changing the spring bars. If there isn't movement it could be lug drilling or the SELs themselves

Try to « move » the sel from left to right.
If the bracelet move a little bit, the bracelet is too narrow for the Noob case and there is nothing you can do.

Only hope is a better batch next time ;)

It doesn't move. I tried to use my 16610 bracelet on noob daytona's case and the sel recession seems to be nearly perfect. I think that the problem is about the sel ans not about lugs.

As an update, finally received the gen crystal/gasket and will be having it installed today. So here's what the crystal looks like now on the Noob. Comparing the two crystals, it looks like the gen crystal has a more pronounced bevel cut. Whereas the side profile of the Noob crystal looks almost "rounded" due to the shallower bevel.

I'll update again once the gen crystal is on.

And here's the gen crystal in it's blister

Edit: here's the crystal installed. It's clear that the profile of the gen crystal is quite different from the Noob.

Arrived today, dial is off-centre but it's not an issue as in 2 weeks i'll swap it with an ARF v2 dial.
(bracelet is having a baby oil bath)

Hi, I’m new to the rep game so my questions might seem very basic.

I’m interested in buying a Daytona, I’m more interested in how the watch looks then how it works. So closest looking to the gen. what would you guys say i should go for? Noob or ARF, also which dealer, I was thinking of using chazingtime

thanks.

If you are going for looks and don’t care about nonfunctioning chrono subdials, hands down ARF

Yeah he is right if you just want the looks take the new arf v2
If you want one that functions like gen it is Noob with sa4130 movement

Sorry for the questions. I know they claim
to be 50m water resistant. Is this reliable or better to be safe and keep out of water?

Have it tested locally before risking it in water. If the watch is assembled correctly there is no reason it should not be safe for water, I would bet that it could pass 100 meters

Looks great bro. Who did the install? Does the bezel have to come off?

Thanks bro!

He's a local guy I use for reps and yes the bezel has to come off. It's not too difficult to do at all if you've got the right tools. But I figured it's not exactly cost effective for me to buy a bezel puller and crystal press.... I don't do it often enough to justify the extra investment.
