It's an awesome rep. If you think it is too much to pay for a rep (or don't believe the plausible story), then vote with your feet and walk away. For those who are asking so many questions before deciding on the purchase, if you are considering this watch, I suggest you buy instead of regretting later that you were too late because you had so many questions. As a proud owner of the V2 (which by all indications this is, I am sure Noob isn't going to invest additional money to improve the rep just a tad), I have to tell you, I am never letting this go. ;)

Like what I am seeing on this one. Might have to grab this one while it is available. However, was up on Angus' site and it looks like the link is down. Must be going under some maintenance.

So what we got now is the $60 usd difference in price between H-fact 243

http://www.asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?big_pid=&ps_id=&P_id=2308&ti= $288

and the new noob's 243v2

http://www.asian7750.com/cn/product_show.asp?big_pid=&ps_id=&P_id=2311&ti= $348

I've just read this great comparison here again http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=121775 and I'm wondering if this price difference is really justified as in some aspects H-fact version seems to be superior. What do you think guys? Is it still worth going for noob's?

s3g0y has a good point. I bought the H fact version from Toro a few weeks ago and it looks amazing. I would not expend $60 more for the Noob as the differences with the H are not worth that extra money.

To each their own. Each watch has their fans and for their own reasons.

If i already have the H fact 243, I won't upgrade to Noob one... but if nothing in hand now, then I'd get a Noob 243 v2.

Hopefully toro has enough stock since I plan to order one this Friday. Been keeping my eyes on the m2m section for a noob V2. Now gotta figure out if I want to stick with rubber or get a custom leather strap for it.

I vote for custom leather strap. The 243 looks good on some of the rugged leather out there. I have this one on my 005, but will put it on the 243 as soon as it arrives.

I know the 243 has a helium valve on it. Since rep helium valves aren't truly functional, how waterproof is this watch? I plan to immediately send this watch off to be professionally pressure tested and all that but with the presence of the pseudo helium valve, can that still actually be done?

it's a rep. don't expect 1.000 m deep dive

or you have a good trusted watchmaker which setup some new o-rings and make it to wearable to i.e. 300m. that's okay for diving fans..
