Looks like they are using the same large center hole dials needed by 2824/2836 movements. Maybe they'll catch on and make proper dials as batches improve.
Thats fine by me. Gen dial, hands and bezel is cheap. Only thing that bugs my mind is that will ARF bracelet fit?
The biggest question is: will this fit inside a Noob...

This movement is not goong to work in either a CHS or ICHS case bro. Both are in 2836 cases and the stem heights will be too different
I thought you just need a custom movement gasket or some sort, otherwise how did people managed to fit in a hybrid 3185 to Noob CHS case?

Not sure about that bro. Those hybrids were based on an SH3135 which is same stem height as 3186. The 2824 CHS uses a very thick dial spacer (1.5mm) and an elevated DW tooth ring to compensate for the stem height difference, in effect pushing the 2824 down in the case to the 2836 tube position.
Maybe the tube was removed, hole filled, new tube hole drilled and tapped. It may have also needed some inside case milling and a special movement holder. It WAS done, so it can be done again. I should have clarified that it would not be a simple 1:1 movement swap.
It could also be done with a Noob 3135 Sub case, just swap in the GMT crystal retaining ring with its 24 scallops and the GMT bezel assembly. Probably easier that way although the case engraving would be wrong if that matters to you.

Sounds like a lot of work mate - I think looking at the picture the bracelet and case finish is similar to Noob (Noob has really rough brushed finish on the bracelet) so I am not sure if really need to swap with noob. (Plus my mini franken Noob GMT is perfect now, just with a working time bomb) Do you have any experience on how thick is VRF ceramic insert? Can't help thinking about replace VRF insert with gen now.
