Rolex reps will all have tells, and any Gen owner would probably know the tells anyway.
If you want more more gen like watches go for AP's or Hublot.

I have a gen dssd, and was comparing it to the pics here. I'm very impressed. The flaws that I saw were
1. that the ogev writing isn't as sharp, but that's based on a macro (so you wouldn't be able to tell on the wrist)
2. The clasp indentation (to open the clasp) is too gentle.
3. I didn't see a shine on the bezel teeth. In all fairness, this is dependent on lighting, so maybe it's there on the rep.

I would not be able the difference on the wrist I think.

I've ordered one of these but had to reject QC for the 2nd time due to that damn OGEV / RLS text being off. Does anyone know if it's even possible to get this model with the text even and not off to one side??
