The sunburst effect is there... it's just not nearly as prominent on the ZF. Also looks a bit different than gen in many lighting situations. Solid rep, otherwise.

thanks for the feedback. getting closer to pulling the trigger. if only hont would do a slight mod of replacing the snowflake hour hand with a mercedes hour hand i'd be all in already.

Question for anyone who owns one of these: have you opened it and measured the dial? I handled a gen and the dial looked tiny... 5513 small at maybe 26mm? Is this the case on the rep?

I have ordered one of these beautiful BB54 rep, and I am considering buying the gen rubber strap.

I called my AD to order the strap, it costs 189€ without the clasp, and 600€ with.

I am wondering if it's possible to take the clasp from the rep steel bracelet to attach it to the genuine rubber strap ?

It should work just fine.

I had a similar issue. I didn't notice it initially, but the watch had some fibres on the dial.

I just opened the caseback, removed the crown and the three screws holding the movement to the case, and cleaned the dial with a dust blower.

I bought a generic case opener set (£11) and used the No3 (26.5mm) grooved chuck to open the case back.

kind of, you still have to remove the indice, file off one of the feet positioning it and glue it back on (straighter than before!)
doable but no guarantee for success

I tested mine when I did a movement swap. The a2824 it came with had too much rotor wobble so I swapped it for a Seagull ST2130 and removed the ghost crown position with an ETA 2801 setting lever jumper. While I had the guts out I pressure tested it to 6 atm and it passed no problem. Here on an Omega style rubber/canvas strap.

I'd expect it from ZF within the next 8-10 months max, together with the BB58 GMT. The BB54 took them roughly the same time. If they're going to replicate it (why wouldn't they?).

Today I got my watch from Hont. Total delivery was 10 days and I didn't have to wait 24 hours for the QC picture. I am incredibly pleased with the communication and the whole process. And the watch is amazing! This is my first top of the range replica watch, but I'm impressed, I can't imagine what an original Tudor would be like after this. Bottom line, I highly recommend Hont and the watch!

The size is perfect, so if you are used to smaller watches you will love it, after the Apple Watch Ultra it was a bit unusual but I love it!!

I don't understand why people make such a big deal about lume. I've never cared, even with my original watch, I check the time on my phone in the dark anyway. I would 100x rather have bad lume than any other detail that is visible from 0-24. But that's just my opinion.

I generally don’t care too much about lume either, but I think his point is that during daylight the lume color of the hands does not match that of the indices on this rep. It doesn’t bother me but to some it might.

I have the gen rubber strap. I tried to put it on the rep bracelet but that won’t work unfortunately.

Anyway the gen rubber band fits perfect witch the gen endlinks.

Perfect watch rep in my opinion.
