I'll take some shots of the crown later, but here are some gen photos of the white indices, and they are pretty white all day in all lights

In some the shots you can see the crown guards, they go to about halfway up the crown

Definitely looks pretty crisp! And my elf eyes see the crown guard just a hair under halfway :sigh:

Just confirmed with Li, the crown guard on all VSF's in general are shorter by a hair or so. Extremely hard to notice.

Thank you for all the work you have done for the omega rep community!
(blushes)

Thank you :)

He got back to me. Li from Jtime is aware of the issue and his QC crew makes sure to avoid watches that have this issue. If you want an SMP I'd highly recommend going with Li for this reason, and many more.

More proof that JTime is a next-level TD

Decided to buy the Sedna this month.
I couldn’t decide on a Pepsi, so that will have to wait till next months bonus check ;)
Just sent money using Xoom to Li with Jtime.

MUCH easier/smoother than using Bitcoin at Puretime

Don’t rely on that too much as mine came from Li and it does have greeny yellow tints to markers in bright light.

Must be a recent issue that has come to light or be noted as a defect :(

I've read from previous comments that this may be a batch issue, specifically of recent smp's and the issue has only just been spotted by the community.

(sorry for the pun)

Don't worry, make sure you talk to your TD and specifically ask for a watch without the batch issue. Show a picture of the issue as well and all will be fine :)

Thanks.. But if it's a problem with an entire batch then there isn't much that a TD can do too right? Unless I wait it out for a new batch to be released..

Good point. It's hard to say what constitutes a batch though. It could be a week of product, a month or work done by a particular contractor on the dial.

There's a lot of variables, definitely. I do think that keeping your TD informed of the issue and marking it as a hard red light would, at the worst, take much longer to get the watch.

In my experience, a TD is like having a relationship. The more you communicate and know about each other, the smoother the relationship is.
