Quick update
After spending some time with the rep and a bit less time with the gen, I’ve now returned the gen and will be getting a new speedy instead. Told my AD the truth, can’t freaking read the watch as black on black just makes my brain freeze sometimes.
But, I’m keeping the rep and will fit a Swiss eta on it as it has passed water pressure up to 6bar and the build quality is there. Just one cool watch to have on the box if it didn’t cost you your kidney.
Atm is the only rep in the box, after I sold all my reps.

For watches like the black/black I'd never consider gen. It's too much of a weird niche watch to bother spending 10k on it.

It would have been great if you'd made a gen vs. rep comparison before returning it.
I noticed you have the white tip on your seconds hand as well. From the pics of the gen on omegas website, it doesn’t have this.
August it’s my busiest working month, like 6am-9pm days every day even weekends. It didn’t even passed my mind to stop for pics.
It is indeed, I had the watch hands and dial off today. I'm going to swap the entire movement to a gen sw200. The backside of the hands are absolute garbage btw, they only made the visible side nice
, and the black color is just paint/some film, it's not blued or anything like that.

These haven't been readily available for several weeks now. TDs are taking orders but are cautioning "long QC" times. Is there any word on when the next batch will drop?

A friend has the gen, I figured it would be of interest to post more pics for reference.
It's too much black for me but very nice Omega IRL, particularly in outdoor light.

I wish Omega made the dial a little darker to pop those anthracite super-luminova. A bit more contrast and there wouldn't be any readability issue.
