Get the 2.85mm gasket but I always like to have a shorter (2.7mm) and a taller (3.0mm) on hand in case the date mag looks off with a replacement crystal. If you want to buy extra gaskets from Gary (Clark), contact him with a parts list and he will create a special listing for you so you only pay one shipping charge.

Thank you very much for helping. So should I take 3 different gasket?

Today, it’s arrived, and looks awesome.
Only the clasp is really bad and the bezel action is really bad.

Came to me too. I agree on everything, I add that the cyclpe lens is horrible! Too many reflections and very dull

The reflection on the bezel itself is really strong. But it looks not bad, i think I change the clasp with my Arf ym.
I hope vsf brings the perfect gmt II rep.

I mean the reflections on the cyclope lens. The insert for me is gorgeous.

I’ve skimmed through most of the several of the posts here and couldn’t find a comment on the bezel action. I did see some members of the lovely Reddit community commenting that the bezel action is rather stiff. Curious if any of the owners of the VRF MAX can share their feedback on the quality of the bezel rotation. Is it similar to the ARF GMT’s (nice smooth click, Gen like feeling) or no?

Yes confirm. The bezel action is very stiff

ROF already has one. ROF is apparently an affiliate or partner to VRF. The watches are very similar, except for some minor differences. ROF is 316L (insignificant IMO), slightly different dial, the recent ROF crystals appear better (mine does not require changing). Bezel action on mine is good, though there are also reports of less than adequate crystals and poor bezek actions.

Thanks for the link as always KJ! Has anyone successfully changed their crystal over to the Clark crystal? Once I know one fits perfectly, I'd be keen on placing an order for one myself.

I think kevBquick has put a Clark's on his. But I know for sure it will fit, the 6 digit Rolex GMT, Sub, YM reps all use the 25-295 crystals.

I agree that 316L is acceptable but isn’t ROF’s stainless 904L?

I thought I had seen it listed as 316L but Trusty has it as 904L. That whole notion is questionable anyway who can you believe?

https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...for-904l-steel

I don't put any priority on 904L and never pay extra for it if a model is available in 316L. I am not alone in thinking 904L is largely a marketing ploy by Rolex and now by rep factories to try to be "special" and charge more for something that isn't any better for most buyers. Or in the case of the rep factories, isn't even any different.

Mine arrived today from jtimewatch today - thank you!

Congrats to you sir!

Surprisingly my VRF Pepsi is the rep I have the least issue with. In fact the 'only' thing I would 'consider' for mine is swapping the glass for genuine.
Other than that I am perfectly happy.

I wish I could say that for my others that are a less challenging watch to make. VRF GMTs to 'me' are the top of the heap.....................so far.
