Getting To Know The Place
For those who have a misaligned bezel and want to fix it, it's a press fit bezel so no glue or adhesive needed
Well, the ZF Pelagos 39 turned up yesterday from @puretime. It was the third watch I received QC shots for, the previous two I rejected for the reasons above. In hindsight I should have rejected this one too. It had the same issue with the endlink corner on the underside being broken as the other two watches, but I decided I could live with that. What I missed though was the poorly printed PELAGOS on the dial and the uneven texture above Chronometer. This being the third watch QC from Puretime, I was keen to move the process along. My own fault naturally, I should have scrutinised the images more throughly. Anyhow, I have now taken the issue up with @puretime. Perhaps they’ll be able to send me a replacement dial at least.I’ve ordered the ZF Pelagos 39 from Puretime. I‘m awaiting the 3rd set of QC shots. 1st had a flaw on the dial, a scratch running through the “C” of Certified. 2nd had a flaw on the bezel, a scratch @ “20”, plus an endlink that was missing a corner on the underside.
Really 'coincidence' to have the second hand over the misformed 'O'Well, the ZF Pelagos 39 turned up yesterday from @puretime. Poorly printed "O" in Pelagos. Uneven texture on the dial above the "C" of Chronometer too.
Razor sharp, poorly finished end links. Missing the round corner on this one.
QC shot from @puretime
My first thought too.Really 'coincidence' to have the second hand over the misformed 'O'
I hope I don't get one of the rejected for QC pics this week .....
Well if in doubt, ask for close up shots 🫣I hope I don't get one of the rejected for QC pics this week .....

Looks great. See, homages have to try to get sales so good homage companies put effort into details. Unlike some replica factories that are carried by brand names.
My Seestern arrived today. Watch is great except for the endlinks... doesn't fit tight as I am used to. Overall nice homage attempt. Sunburst on the dial is visible only on direct sunlight.
Seestern are lucky they don't make guitars ... because Gibson would sue them.

Nice. Finally got QC pics after a 4 week wait. And it's now with a courier company.I’m still absolutely thrilled with this Pelagos. This little gem has been glued to my wrist since the day it arrived. Well, to be precise, I only wear it in the evenings and at night - during the day, I usually rock my Sub. (The Sub doesn’t glow as brightly, but I prefer something heftier on my wrist during daylight hours)
Despite the fact that I only wear this watch during my less active moments, it performs like a champ. Over the last 10 days, it’s gained maybe 30 seconds, which is perfect for me—I tend to be just a tad late for appointments anyway.
