That gray is too ... gray to me. At least from that angle and lighting. I still wish they would just bite the bullet and make the 3135 copy good enough to compete with the shitty A2836's they use in all reps. ;)

Big step forward small steps back.

Thanks for the pic mate, but are you serious? Square date window that's too far to the right and that 12 o clock sure is hanging low!! The rim on the rectangles look all wrong too. Short of the fat hour rims, the noob surely has to be better by a long shot, or am I missing something? :)

For dials I think BP still has it down, if only they could get the alignment right on more than 1/10 specimens we would come a long way :hehehe:

I've said it before: there's little point in incremental improvements when the crown position is a dead give away from further away than the dial and insert!

Crown position bigger tell on the wrist than insert? Really man? :woo:

With you on the incremental improvements being a turd, though. Why not stick with what they got right in the v3, the new crown guards looks horrible.

U.K.
Toro has it listed now and their pics make the bezel paint look nice. Cheaper too with standard Asia 2836.

what I don't understand ( or may I do ) is why the factories do not correspond with the aficionados on here when constructing a new watch/version, to get all aspects right , or at least correct known faults .

maybe they want to constantly bring out new versions so that people keep buying them , but I think they would sell more if there was a final version .

people will say you can't get the perfect rep, from the watches I have seen ( AP , PAMS , etc ) , I think you can , it just takes a detailed eye , patience , and the want to .

Crown guards are meh. The engraved bezel depth though is really nice. Maybe I'll just buy a ceramic bezel? Also if they did this to the sub hopefully the gmt ii will be updated.
