I've attached the link as there's a few different ones announced:

For me, the release is underwhelming and there's nothing I'd buy gen or rep particularly.

Minor changes to the Daytona, the new skydweller release looks ok and I quite like the new 1908.

Any thoughts on what you want on your rep wishlist?

Anyone considering buying gen?

I'll be going to the AD this week to put myself down for the Skydweller (White gold oysterflex, steel Mint dial and a white dial 1908) to see if I win the lottery.

New models, new waitlists. Looking forward to that VSF Yachtmaster 42.

Looks like CF got too close with their reps so they had to change the Daytona.

I like the new Yachtmaster 42.

Unfortunately, titanium alloys have a different tinge to stainless steel or to other metals like aluminum. It is quite obvious to people who are very familiar with Ti in both its commercial (bicycles, golf clubs) and industrial (mechanical and aerospace engineering) applications.

That said, a rep made out of steel will probably look inauthentic to many folks, even those not into watches.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Tried it once, didn't seem to want my business (unless I spend ten times as much as the watch with them first on other products).

Well good luck with that... do you have an existing relationship? If not then I'm not sure it's so much a lottery as a forlorn hope!

I'm looking at the dial and I'm not seeing what you mean with the Zenith era, care to elaborate please?
Thinner subdials which look more matte and sharper hour markers. not as rounded as in the 116500 series. On the modern side, bezel base is SS and insert is ceramic (same structure like the GMTs and Subs). To my eye, it looks similar to the "dark" reflection of a full SS bezel

I can see what you mean by the bezel "dark reflection".

Bezel reminds me of the black bezel 6421. I'm not much of a ceramic bezel fan, but I really really...really like this one.

I'm sure I'll get used to it but I don't care for the new Daytona hour markers. The Daytona ceramic bezels now have a metal edge so I wonder if the ceramic part is really an insert?

All the Daytona model cases are alike now (including YG), taking a shape similar to the previous precious metal cases. Subdials go thin and cases go thick. It looks like the cases are now symmetrical left to right, the right side no longer slightly slimmed to balance the pushers.

No more meteorite dials!

Both Platinum models now have the same hands - no black stripe hands on the diamond dial. The plats have a transparent caseback.

I saw the SS bezel base, but missed the hour markers, as for the subdials they didn't strike me as an awful lot thinner but yeah they do look a bit thinner than on the 116500 Panda...

Come on! The Explorer I went from 36 to 39 to 36 to 40! Amateurs. This is the enlightened Rolex marketing expert after seeing the 36mm in hand (replace "center" with "watch"):

I'm just going to say it.
I don't like the new Daytona.
They done made it look like a trash tier fake / Parnis.

YM - a more expensive and less capable Pelagos. For when only a Rolex will do. Hope they do a better job of the finishing than they did on their Deep Sea, because the finishing on that was ass.

Explorer - I like it. Get it repped. They should have put a bigger crown on it though.

I love the new Yachtmaster. I'd buy a rep in a flash!

Titanium is fine... The rep will be titanium too. Just like my NTTS and my pelagos...

I hope a factory knocks up the case and bracelet quick. They already have all of the other bits (including insert) ready to go.

Want want want.

According to one report the John Mayer Daytona's (Gold Green and Platinum Blue), Daytona Meteorite dials, the Cellini and the Milgauss are being discontinued. Does that mean the reps will disappear as well?

I quite like the 1908, I'd give it a chance. The others didn't attract me that much tbh

The new Daytona is simply outstanding for me
It is like a modernized vintage
Dial zenith vibes
Bezel 6263 vibes
Case modern precious metal style
The new movement is pretty awesome too
If they had put a transparent caseback at this also, it would have been the cherry on top

What about the new GMT? Didn’t see a full gold jubilee strap in a while.. last one was the rootbeer vintage I guess?

Give CF 2/3 months and they will be ready with at least the TT model 🥳
