New Release: Noob Skydweller

I'm looking into the black Sky-Dweller. My only hesitance is from what I can see, the dial on the gen is glossy black like the sub, while the dial on the Noob is sunburst black. Is that correct?

Both the Noob and the gen black dials have a sunburst. It's more subtle on the gen, which can look like a Sub black dial in more lighting conditions than the rep dial.

Has anyone measure RL thickness? How does it wear on the wrist? At 15mm it seems to be a monster being thicker than an AP Diver....

Depending on one's wrist size wearing the Skydweller might be quite uncomfortable. There is no comparison to a sub or a datejust.
I'm disappopinted somewhat, because I didn't expect such a difference.

It's not a gen-spec sized crystal so unless you take it out and send it to Prof for coating, it's unlikely one can be found.

after delaying and dragging my feet to actually buying one, and the agony of hearing that the manufactures didnt have any when i eventually pulled the trigger......... i finally got my hands on my Noob Skydweller thanks for WatchaholicMallorca
My initial impressions: i love it!

I have a blue face DJII, fluted bezel, oyster bracelet which i daily drive. absolutely love the watch, its every thing i want, gorgeous blue dial, bling bling of the fluted bezel and polished oyster links......the only problem for me was that it felt small (even though it should have been 41 or 42 mm, im not sure how accurate the case size was)......which was why i never got a DJ41, i didnt want a watch that felt even smaller!

the skydweller solves that problem! its everything the DJ is but bigger! the blue dial is gorgeous in its own right (even if its far off gen). I didnt expect the bracelet to be wider too, that threw me off. The fit and finish is not all that great. the end links stick up higher than the lugs (where it meets the case under the bezel). the shine of the bracelet is not quite the same as gen and its noticeable.......and of course there's the biggest flaw, the fact that the crystal is a completely different size than gen (and i believe the face is too). the DW font doesnt bother me, as i feel that the gen feels fake because of its thickness

never the less, will be holding on to this watch for a while and selling off my DJ. Will definitely consider trading in for the rumored V2 if and when it ever comes out.

The Noob Skydweller dial, crystal, GMT wheel, and date window are all bigger than gen but I agree it's a fabulous rep. I wouldn't hold my breath on a V2 though, there really is not enough room for improvement to justify it from the factory's perspective.

Two questions? How to use the GMT disk. Can it been used without changing the hands?
To adjust the month with the bezel, is it just turning it? The direction is equal?

Adjust the GMT wheel separately using crown position 2 anti-clockwise.

The month indicator will move in different directions by rotating the bezel in opposite ways.

Ive been waiting just over 2 months to get qc pics of my noob skydweller from InTime and they've still not received my watch from the factory yet.
Anyone else had these issues? ????
