It's possible a DG4813 high beat could be merged with this DG5833. DG high beats don't have a very good track record though, and this movement is pretty solid as is.

The guy making the first reply in the linked thread sums up my feelings exactly regarding low beat.

"An ownership perspective: is the sweep smoother? Yup. Do I notice it? Only if I'm looking at it and thinking about it. Would anyone else notice it? No, never. (because I'm not shoving my wrist in anyone's face to begin with)."

I can echo these sentiments having owned two rep Sky-Ds with the exact same movement. Not once, ever, did I even think about the second hand sweep. I just enjoyed the watch for what it was. And this Noob is miles better. So unless you're trying to rub it in to a gen owner or are worried about being called out, I wouldn't be concerned. Just buy into the fantasy we all came here for. It will be a long long time before this model gets any better than this.

The Sky-D movement is not a 3804, it's a DG5833.

There are (claimed) high beat DG2813s available. Ones with an independent GMT hand I suppose would have to be a 3804.

I have this same Exp II watch coming from Nembo and have thought more than once about mixing the movements. If only DGs weren't such a bitch to put back together. But it's possible the only mods would be on the dial side. Swap the 24 hour GMT wheel gear with the GMT hand wheel and voila. When they go low, we go high, haha.

I haven't seen any of the new Noob Sky-Ds in white. There have been white dial ones with functional GMT wheels out for several years.

The ones listed at (NON-TD) TSWATCH with ETA movements have non-functional GMT wheels

TWF model doesn't have decorated movement so it's a little thinner. Same DG5833 low beat. Dial is not as good as the Noob IMO, coronet is not as well done. Red triangle position is better. Hands lume is more narrow which is better. DW is a deal breaker.

The movement is not new, it's been used in Skydweller reps for years. What's new is the bezel activated month changing feature, and from Noob, a wider dial date window and good datewheel. Also better (wider) hands.

Two years old, same exact movement. At least this $158 Regdweller managed to fit the date inside the window, smh. That TWF is going to be $350 or more.

Sincerely, this is my preferred rolex all time. Dimensions and Blu dial are an incredible mix of elegance and sporty wear, imo.
But no rep, actually, appears close to gen.
This new noob, also.
Hope in further improvement by this or other factories
