Source them factory PVD coated. You can't plate over PVD, it has to be removed before plating. They use an acid bath to de-pate it before they apply the 18k gold plating.wow tungstens must feel amazing happy for you men,
did you get the watches plain and then get it plated or you get the way it is and get YG replated again?
@Latarian everyone is entitled to his opinion and can express it everywhere in the forum within the limits of honesty and good manners.I use RCFWatchMods you can contact him on wechat. Can source the watch and do the plating for you.
@xing_david : Could you clear this out for us all: is the product white gold or is it platinum please ?i have contacted xing directly and asked about whether its plat or white gold.
Its white gold, but apparently google translates it into platinum.

Thank you so much for elaborate explanation on this matter! We chose to use platinum plating that mimics the color of white gold on the bezel instead of white gold plating due to platinum's superior durability, resistance to tarnish, and its naturally white luster that does not fade over time. While white gold often requires rhodium re-plating to maintain its brightness, platinum retains its color and finish much longer, making it a more reliable and low-maintenance option for high-wear areas like bezels. Additionally, platinum’s hypoallergenic properties offer added value for customers with sensitive skin. Overall, platinum plating ensures a longer-lasting, more luxurious appearance.
