What do you guys think going from a VSF to a Xing? I'm stuck I really want gen but how big of a difference is gen vs xing vs VSF?

I thought the cf was way better than the vsf especially the color, the xing is a step from the cf in my opinion
year ago in my dj era I compared vsf, xing and cf.
vsf was solid ss, cf was copper alloy with plating and xing vas ss with plating.
xing was the most accurate. cf wasn't far behind but the plating wasn't durable.
go with xing for few extra bucks... it's hard to capture the difference on 1 photo but live on the watch it's night and day imo

Sorry to break to everyone, but xing bezel is not worth it on a CF DJ41. Zero difference in color. No gold warm hue and the flutes are much more softer than stock Clean fluted bezel. Makes a big difference when the light catches the bezel and it shimmers.
Sorry you are not happy. I have sold hundreds of these with excellent reviews. PM me with your order info and lets try to swap it out so that you are happy. Something isn't adding up.

Hate to break it to you but you pictures are awful.
I don’t know if the carpets are supposed to match the drapes but I’m my eyes, this bezel is spot on. Gen hands, crystal, and dial.

you really can’t see any warm tone to the color? There’s no difference in color from the bezel, hands and dial markers in these pics? Your pictures are in the shadows, they all look the same that way. Not sure what your end game is here “getting to know the place” but the pictures here don’t lie. This bezel clearly matches the tone of the gen gold. Whether or not it should, I don’t know but it’s definitely there.
I've been here just as long as you have. I posted multiple detailed pics on page 7. I'm simply sharing my obversation. People can formulate their own opinions, but my pics demonstrate the xing bezel flutes color difference is negligible and the flutes are less pointy than stock CF. I see your pics and while the color is somewhat noticeable in direct sunlight it's not near the warm hue color of gen. You have the same soft flutes though so each flute is not going to individually shimmer in different lights.

You’re absolutely correct, everyone is entitled to their opinions. That’s how we all learn here on this forum and help each other out. I will also agree the flutes are not as sharp as CF. That being said, you stated there is “no warm hue” which there obviously is. Maybe there was an issue with yours and you should try to work that out with the seller. I almost think it’s too much on mine. I was under the impression that the bezel was patented “grey gold” that is impossible to replicate.
I purchased the mod from daili98xing / popup in May of this year when i bought the CF DJ41 and had him install it. Don't think you'll be able to help in this case unless you want to send me a new batch bezel which, to me, does look different than what I received. I have no reason to believe popup didn't use the actual xing bezel. He's very well known for mods.
