Yeah I figured from the brushing and the clasp too, oh well I'm still really grateful of getting my dream grail watch with a manual wound week instead of the normal glued on 90 degree CHS version.

Why not get the APSF Black ceramic version? Real ceramic

I see no point of a black PVD rep

I have already considered getting the APSF black Ceramic (CHS version) at one point but as I said, I really love the functionality aspect of the moveable weeks within the year hand and also being able to move the leap year indicator manually too is quite awesome (at least to me) and BBR has that, I'm not sure if its going to be reliable for the long term but all I know is that I have to be very careful and baby it lol.

Ask her to put it on the scale, until then, assume PVD plated ceramic

I haven't seen a single "weight" scale picture of these watches lol
PVD plated ceramic....? humm?

No i will not disturb her, she is busy as all dealers are, and i dont give a shit about the black version - its just an information.
I WANT A BLUE CERAMIC.

While I like the looks of this rep and the complications that sort of work, the construction leaves a lot to be desired. Someone posted earlier that one of the hands fell off. On mine, the AP on the rotor just fell off. I guess it's glued on to the rotor. It's now stuck between the rotor and the case, keeping the rotor from spinning. Watch still works when wound, so could be worse, I guess.

Trying to decide whether it'd be worth to buy a replacement rotor and pay a watchsmith to install it.

Would suggest fixing that ASAP before it causes more damage. At the minimum take out the piece that's flying around.

Just buy the correct sized screw driver and some super glue? Surely you can take 8 screws out, use the tinest bit of glue in the world then screw it back together. Not saying its a well made rep but in the grand scheme of things this is a very easy problem to fix!

Agreed, but I recommend epoxy over super glue. Super glue off gases. Wouldnt want that in the movement cavity.

You need some G-S Hypocement and it should work wonders. Some 2-component epoxy will also work!

Don’t use any super glue as it will likely fog the crystal…

I just did just this. And managed to refer to Napoleon Dynamite about AR coating detectives.

So from what I can tell the BBR movement at least allows for a 24 hour period where watching functional? Considering these watches are never going to be a daily wearer that should be fine as you gotta reset it every time you wear it unless you really want to play with fire and stress that movement on a winder.

BBR is fine. The advice is to :

Push the buttons slowly
Only change time between 6am and 2pm (I set it at around 11am)
Only move the GMT/weeks hand FORWARD. NEVER ever EVER backwards.

Would it be okay if I wear it a few times in a week let's say during the weekend or going somewhere ? I have other watches in rotation but I'm scared I might damage it or God forbids break it, you reckon they are okay for normal use ?
