Depending on natural light vs artificial light then direct vs indirect exposure, I would say it switches from a grey to a very deep blue. I have been looking at images of Gen, each one looks different from the next regarding colour gradient. The angle makes a big difference to how the colour is perceived. I personally love the dial and think it’s a fun watch to wear

Off wrist as shown you can hear it but I have gens which sound similar, if not louder. I would say it is nothing like the noise I get off miyota movements. On wrist I don’t notice to be honest…..
