Just for reference qc pics from TD puretime.. im waiting for their reply about the crown.. this looks like a v1.. the crown is very off.. does any one concur?

I could be wrong, but Looks like it’s just not screwed down all the way.

It’s not screwed all the way in. Also it might be a good idea to avoid throwing multiple posts like that in quick succession. Might get your post count nuked lol

As others have said, it looks as though the crown just isn't screwed down. Which makes sense if they're winding the watch to check the PR or adjusting the time etc.

It's definitely a V2, the colour of the V1 dial is very different.

Yes, it looks like a v2 watch with a v1 crown.

I've just ordered one of these as well! Looked good on pics, can't wait to receive it. The dial does look a bit purple but so do real pictures of a gen...

My dealer just confirmed that there are actually 2 version of 5712v2 dial, one is more greyish and one is previous purple blue, and VS is distributing them on random...good luck folks

interesting, so not a version upgrade but difference in batch production

though anything more grey, more blue or more purple than the V1 is just inferior imo. Guess we need to wait till 2025 for V1 dial + V2 movement labeled as V3 lol

Every TD tries to sell, it's his business. As soon as PPF releases an update of the color of the dial or the moon phases disk it will be published everywhere with great relevance, it will never be the “gossip” of the TD that will change the story. I still haven't seen photos in full light with different colors between these two batches. The photos that were posted here are all the same.

Exactly finally a dealer confirm on this. Thats why i said there is a v3 . Its a updated dial color. Its different from the first few batch v2

The movement is a clone movement, this makes your watch a V2

I dont know why many memebers keep wanting to reinstall the v1 dial on the v2. The v1 dial is pretty incorrect. The whole cut out of the dial is super wrong. Look at the whole circle of the calendar and second hand cirlce. The cut out is totally off.

Because it looks way better.

You might be right - but to me, color of that dial is more important then those details.

I agree. The newest “blue” updated v2 is pretty acceptable.

I've compared dial colour between my QC pics and this video:

And they seem super close.
There are some big differences in the movement, but that's fair enough

People keep talking about an update in batch based on something they’ve heard from a TD. The color so far of the supposedly updated batch is exactly the same as my V2.
If there is an update in batch it will be released in a big stunt as a V3. PPF don’t do things quietly. Like PPF have done with the 5711 and so forth.

Imho comparing rep dial colors with pics of blue Nautilus gens are meaningless. If you like the color of your rep dial then you just enjoy it. Otherwise keep off the blue Nautilus reps.
