The million-dollar question is if we can put V1 dial in V2?

While we're on the subject of 5712s, does anyone know the lug-to-lug measurement? As far as I can tell, if it's the same as a 5711 it should be around 44mm. But that seems very small, I've never handled a 5711 or 5712, clone or gen, but in pictures they look rather large. I remember being upset at my 15202 wearing so large with it's 49mm lug-to-lug and instantly knew I would sell it. (I have ~6.25" wrists and prefer <47mm lug-to-lug)
We desperately need QCs to stop the color-freaking-out-madness that is happening in this thread lol
People already talking about swapping dials
TD don't rank anything, a lot will say "best version" 1:1 or super clone.Alright, advice taken. I'll drop the option and plunk down the extra 200... but please teach me, can you tell me what you guys look for in these images that would be red-flags? Or what questions would you ask TD to rank this model?

It just goes to show that most of us (myself included) just don't have a life.
Every one of us wishes we are wrong to be sceptical about the dial. V1 was near perfect. Super 240 photos of the dial are not encouraging.
Agreed. But if someone can check if the v1 dial fits, it would be worth it to get both.
Indeed, that would solve the biggest issue people have when you are spending $750 nearly...
Or maybe we could wait for someone, even just one person, to have the actual watch in hands, not a prototype and tell us whether there is even a problem?
How can something that no one has seen yet be "the biggest issue"? We don't even know whether there will even be anything to solve at all regarding the dial...
That's a very easy question to answer. Look at the photos of the dial on V2!! Clearly you are not telling me you can see the flat blue colour on the V2 and can't make out the difference from the V1?
That is not the V2 dial, it's a prototype. No one has seen the actual V2 dial because it hasn't been released yet. Hence my point. So unless you know for a fact that the final one won't be different, this is all useless until it is released
prototype???....and would they build a dial specifically for a prototype???
