Looks like SW v1 with PPF markers (but whiter lume). I like SW v2 much more.

Stupid question is the pinions another mod that has to go to china to get or is the factory/modder actually selling these to be able to procure outside china? Currently have my 5712 out for modding in Singapore but I could see myself wanting the pinion mods in some time once I have it back in my hands.

Hey, Im actually not in Singapore- I just have buddies that got me a good deal on my first 5712 and was able to get SW mods done. The watchmakers name is Brian, I dont have his contact or info other than his name. Message @alvinado he might be able to assist with SG questions.

Well, at least you see that the dial is completely off!! Way too dark. This is the dial for the leather bracelet! I am waiting for the PPF V3… hopefully the will fix this amazing flaw!

Ive had mine for about a year now, got it serviced a couple months after I got it. I would say, if you can get it serviced right away, do it. But theres nothing wrong with waiting a little bit, my advice if you have to wait a bit is just be gentle with time setting. Position 2 (time setting) is when the clutch is engaged, which is the part that shits out. So being gentle with it is really how you get longevity here

Being gentle in terms of pulling the crown to the position 2 and gently set the time? I’m waiting for a 5712 V2 delivery so any tips are much appreciated. Did you service it at a local watchsmith or u sent to a fellow member?

Gentle as in when in position 2 (time setting) just gently set the time if you need to. Just try not to set it often until you have it serviced. My initial servicing was with Majorwilliams (majwilliams0308 here on RWI), but hes in the US. Although I see youre in Asia, you have a few options like Legend here on RWI. Others in here might have a better pulse on options in Asia though.
