If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

240 movement has enough problems as is. Add some engraved plates, pinion caps, and call it a day.

I am working with factory to make new engraving plates for stock ppf movement right now for cheaper solutions. Will update pics when finish.

The factory claim its a completely new movement. If its just a ppf modified then it definitely not worth the money. Its expensive

Can you get pics of the movement parts from the factory? Perhaps some experts of our forum would be able to adjudge this movement based on the photos of its parts.

Moon disk is finally ready. I will post a detailed comparation this weekend alongside with all current makers, PPF , buff, SW and genuine side by side .

Here is a preview photo without mentioning the factory’s the come come from.

Dial will also come soon. Moon disk fits all the models with this function.

Do you think you can achieve that your dial will contain an appropriate amount of blue color (no more, no less)? This is what I miss from the current custom dial variants. In addition, I like that gen dial version which has some green hue, too (at least in photos).

I can only do it on the base watch movement plates. I do not have spare plates to do them alone. And along with the plates engraving, I also replace a whole set of gen spec pinon mod as well. Since we had to take apart the movement to do the plates, so as well we do the pinon all together. So basically its like a full movement upgrade.

Sorry to write this but it is really true.

i ve bought 6 month ago a completely modded 5712 from buff, i ve yet wrote about it in this thread and some of you even asked me info in pvt.

well…after sending me photos of work in progress…like dial and engraving movement , he sent me qc s to approve the whole watch.
approved and thoose are the photos:




so, the watch should have:

stock ppf clone
buff dial
buff hands
modded moon disk
engraved movement
copped pionions
rebrush
waterproof

total 1400€


the watch that arrived to me is this one

my problem now is that i haven t talked directly to buff but i ve talked to a friend close to him, soi don t have any contact and my “friend “ disappeared for other reasons that i couldn t write here.

Buff send it directly to me and not through my friend…the tracking and the label are clear …so my friend doesn t manage it

@Picasso74 oh buddy. Sorry to hear this. I don’t understand why he sent you the wrong watch. It’s a really bad move.
It’s beyond doubt that the QC watch is a modded buff edition and without doubt that the one you received is stock v2 ppf.

I wasn’t aware you could even deal directly with Buff. Is that possible? Did Buff scam you? Is there an imposter Buff? Or did a dealer offer to build you a watch with Buff parts but actually sent you a stock watch? In which case, Buff wasn’t the scammer.
