I think when you drop $400 on a watch, rep or not, it is not unreasonable to expect correctly applied numbers on a dial and a decent date wheel. They can do it on a $50 Seiko, so why not a rep?

I feel there is nothing wrong with picking out the bad/not-good-enough parts. People improve from mistakes and from people pointing out their error, correct?
We deserved to be "shut the xxx up" if we say "xxxx factory giving us xxxx quality xxxx high price"

We are merely pointing/finding small mistakes, which most importantly, we STILL BUY IN THE END. TD Happy Me Happy Factory laughing their ass off as we kept buying v1 v2 v3.

What I mean? Nitpicking! I bet a lot of money you won't be able to see ANY of these "crooked" ciphers after you have the watch in yout hands. All these QC-picture-nitpickers are pseudo experts and they'll achieve only one thing with their work: the TDs will stop sending QC pics or will start sending us faked pics.

Do you guys notice the difference in gold colour for hands and indices of ZF? From the pics it looks abit yellowy gold, but I just received mine (white/gold dial) and it sure does look more rose gold in the flesh.
I went to AD and had a look at 5007 and numerals are more on yellowy colour rather than rose gold, whereas ours are more like rose gold. Im not too sure if it is the case for gen IWC 5001?

For those members who have 5001 gen white/gold dial, could you please confirm?

and the funny thing is, if i take pic under natural day light, pics look yellow gold but if it is inside the house it is rose gold. Damn Im confused, LOL

Often the AD's have super white lighting so it may be tough to judge. The guys with the gen dials have stated they are very close in color.

I had the GEN 5001-14 dial and believe me the difference was minimal!!! On the 3714 the difference is more noticable, but 5001 GEN vs REP Dial is minimal...but existing. It is all in the eye if the beholder, remember we are all looking at superimposed pics in perfect lighting...30x magnification does not exist in the real world....

I got mine about a month ago and I would say I get about 3 or 4 days of reserve, not 7.... At the same time I never times it to really find out but honestly, 4 days is not bad at all.... Especially since the reserve dial actually functions
