The font and text thickness changed on the 5007 models for the logo IWC and Schaufhausen. However, the new ZF 5007 dials look like the old 5001 models as it does not have the new font and text thickness.
The ZF 5007 models would be accurate if they were named 5001....as they do not have any of the subtle changes to the dial text that IWC made when the model changed from 5001 to 5007.

This has been discussed to death many posts ago.
The good thing is it is the correct font for the laureua and Ardoise version.

Looks pretty good on first inspection! Sud dials don't look shiny so that is good. Hard to see from the pics if there is a sunburst but based on their other releases I expect it is there. Engraving looks a little deep in places on the back but that's minor, other than that the engraving looks very good. Would be good to see some better pictures, but I suspect it is going to be good.

Mario (Orloff) makes them from your measurements.

I found this which I saved, the reference is FK23 and also you measure the strap and send him the measurements like below:

Regarding the straps discussions, going by your comments about the quality of the watch, going OEM would be the best way to go. I've got straps from Orloff and Peter (Timezone) on my watches. Orloff straps are definitely worth the money but have their own look. Peter straps look closer to OEM but he takes 4 weeks to make them! I'll probably go OEM for one watch and Santoni style from Peter for the other.

Fellow enthusiasts and lucky owners of the 5001, please look at my collection and advise on which one to get (to begin with at least!!) cause for the life of me I can't get myself to decide!!

I spent the last hour comparing the blue color of Zf and gen. It looks funny... Seems inaccurate. Anybody think so too?
