Actually that contradicts what you said earlier about him looking at the face of the watch. From what you said, he didn't know it was a rep until he flipped it over. And he needed a loupe to be sure. The point is how many people walk around with loupes flipping watches over?

Yeah sorry I should have been clearer. On a glance at the face he didn't pay enough attention really to notice or even evaluate it. It passed muster sure.

But he flipped it over and without the loupe he knew something was up. Enough that he wanted a closer look as something obviously didn't look right to a pro. Then he grabbed the loupe.

My point was that there is enough wrong with these reps that it's probably not just a crooked 10 that will give them away.

Don't get me wrong I really love this rep. It's just interesting that a pro wouldn't be thinkin a crooked 10 is what gives this away as a rep.

Hard to say, ZF is the best options but you need to be aware of certain issue from ZF which is dirty assembly line, crooked "10" and rotor stuck. However YL i do not have much knowledge about the assembly and rotor stuck. Both movement are the same.

If you decided to go with ZF, i suggest once received the watch get a watchsmith check out, fixed it and service it.

With all due respect, if he needs a loupe to discover that the movement is not gen he seems not to be that much of a pro.

Of course a crooked 10 is not what makes the difference between rep or gen, it's just a sign of bad assembly. However it is in any case a valid reason to make a complain about.

well definitely, specially the santoni not only looks much more luxurious and better colour wise but also makes the watch much more flushed on hand and makes it sit better, its also much softer and more flexible

Just got QC pics, I ordered a V2 by mistake! It's a nice one though so I've said to Toro even though I ordered it by mistake instead of a V3 I'll accept it anyways.

Thanks man! I can't wait for it and my strap only problem is I've just noticed it's actually a V1 (QC pics say V2) so I did end up rejecting it in the end and hopefully will be able to swap it for the V3 now

Definite wristies when they both arrive, I'm looking forward to the strap as much as the watch
