Guys, what kind of a strap do You recommend? I was thinking about LPV Bespoke Leather vintage brown patina strap (Santoni style). Do You think that matte, gloss or semi gloss brown will be the most compatible with white dial/gold numerals ?

LPV Santoni style is good, but don't expect a premium quality. For the price he's asking it is a good deal.

I would prefer the semi gloss brown, matte looks cheap and glossy is a bit too much.

If you can afford 200 - 220€ try a custom made Kaufmann strap. Kaufmann produces the gen straps for IWC... http://www.kaufmann.de/de/konfigurator

Another strap question ... I am looking for an em strap but not sure with one to get. I know the lugs are 22mm but I am not sure which length, as I have small wrists.

Any opinions/help?

I think 5001 is meant to go with deployant, so strap measurements should be 55/135 for a normal wrist.

I wouldnt recommend LPV unless he improved the quality of his hides. Had two straps from him - both were stiff as hell...
