Not sure what you mean about the purpose tint bro. The dial looks different in different lighting/angles etc. It’s very difficult to make comparison with the multiple gen variants because the colour changes depending on many variables.

There's a thread about the blue one where several owners posted pieces received. You may see that some are quite purple in some light conditions.

I'd like to see if you could try to get the purple tint changing lightning conditions .

That would be a good test to see if model was upgraded already, bc some already pointed out that bezel and DW fonts looked upgraded already - is it the case?

I’ve done all the above mentioned to my PPF. Parts between PF&PPF are not interchangeable.

There is no man that can do a better job at reluming that machine, by this I mean that no better result can be achieved on the markers.

Did you realign the markers like the 12 o'clock? because most of the time on the PPF is misaligned.

Also what if I use PF case and all the rest from PPF? And of course PPF crystal.
And about the relume, I think it's doable but just to take a thin layer and apply a whiter one because even patek factory has flaws on the lume fillings.

Check this one at 12 o'clock, you can see clearly one is filled more than the other or at least they do not look like they were filled the same:

I cannot stand the yellowish markers because they blend with the yellowish dial reflection and that it's a turn off for me.
Check this one on how much contrast the white lume makes with the dial reflection, it looks magnificent.

I didn’t change the besel or crown. But modded the tube, date disk, painted the inner wall of the dw. Parts can’t be interchange. Spongebob had both watches when he tried.

Well , I liked your idea

If that was possible, it would solve the problem of bezel, and if we could adjust the stem, also the crown.

It would get a little thicker , though.... and some would note that from 20 metres away.....

Actually no because you can thin the case like they do for the Royal Oak's because the movement and deco it's from PPF so i believe there would be no problem.

Im seeing a completely different color for 2018 gen dial and PPF. Gen seems very grey blue, whereas PPF seems a deep blue in all light.

So, last part of the "first impressions" idea,

As you may remember, I've posted the two watches with case back up.

Some people complained previously about how fake the jewels were in PPF, how bad the plates were.

Well, I'd say that the PPF movm is not that bad at all! And , according to the answers, it seems my guessing was on pair.



It's difficult to post a better pic of movements now but at least you got the idea how it is when you show it to others. The replica one sparkles light too and you only can see the differences in a macro view. The only thing that is more evident, IMHO, is the missing screw near the PP logo.

Just got this guy in. Its true that dial colour is not the best but to be honest it doesnt look that bad also it has a little bit of green and grey on the dial. I tried to adjust the colour of the dial to be close to the human eyes. Sunburst is also there. It looks blue and purple because of the camera sensor. The sensor can capture within the range of RGB don’t wanna go into details as its a lot. photographers will know what I am talking about. The colour you see will depend on the monitor as well. This is taken on iphone7. [

PPF doesn’t look deep blue in all light to my eyes. In this unedited picture it looks black:

The gen video you posted is not under natural ambient light. In sunlight that gen dial could be purple/blue for all we know.

Saw that this video for the PPF Nautiluses came up, but I don't speak Mandarin. Can anyone confirm which of the blue dials is the rep? Both look good to me but my eye is untrained.
