Your posts look so desperate. You just joined the forum - named yourself like this and provide nothing but hot air for this discussion. You dont understand the rep industry nor anything else related to the presentation of watches (talking about your still silly comparison of a CG picture).

... and in conclusion your posts really look like you are one of the even more desperate representants from PF or another mediocre rep factory that didnt achieve what PPF achieved. And now the only thing you can do is bitching and threadcrapping about a new solid release with some very minor weak spots (that even some of the super reps from the NWBIG list have).

While I agree with you BIONONE on the whole post, I would not say PF is mediocre. Up until today they still have the best blue dial Nautilus, if you swap the datewheel for the RWI custom one.

I didnt want to mix up PF with the word „mediocre“ - unfortunately it happened and i get the association that could come with my sentence.

To clear things up - PF‘s white version is nowhere near this new PPF release quality and appearance wise but the factory itself is still not bad at all. But anyone else in the 5711-game isnt too good IMHO haha

Yes exactly, people are taking the minor flaws like the misalignment and thickness too seriously. Like no one even yourself can spot them in an arm’s length.

Just deal with the misalignment since my td is saying almost all of the watch, the hour marker is not lined up perfectly. And the gen is a handmade watch as well, a lot of them are misaligned, so you are expecting paying less than 1% of the original retail price, but has better qc and quality than gen? Like come on. Just accept it and enjoy the watch.

To be honest, coming from the Rolex rep scene I can tell you this is a walk in the park compared to that. Anyone releases a new nice Submariner and you have all sorts of "experts" tearing the watch apart...

Since I joined RWI I'm waiting for the V6F and it is still not here.

And than, all over sudden, this PPF factory pops up with an amazing PP rep. I'm very excited and will pull the trigger when the blue dial is nice. (all the time I wanted the blue dial)

And the little flaws. hahahaha I have written several "terras and wine" stories on this forum. It means, NO ONE will see it when you have it on the wrist. (even off the wrist)
And you cannot expect our Chinese friends to make a 1 on 1 version of the original. I'm already surprised how well they do their job.

For Exampl.
I red somewhere that AP stopped producing their FC RO Diver because the production process of the Forged Carbon case was so difficult and many efforts were failiors.
And look at our ZF v2. The case is perfect. (have one myself) How do they do it while AP has major problems and issues making the FC case??

So. I'm a happy guy, happy with PPF and happy with all the knowledge on this forum. And above all, we can order watches in China without getting scammed due to RWI and her TD's

I find the Patek community, while smaller, is a bit more realistic with the reps because of the incremental progress we have been seeing. The shift in the past few years to NOT decorate movements and focus on thinness fundamentally changed the baseline perspective for Patek: strive for accuracy on the wrist, and be okay with progress.

I received my QC pictures and i have some questions...

First, please, confirm me that is the PPF model, as i see the writting and the crown seems to be PPF but im not an expert in PP models.

Second, my biggest afraid with that was the alignement of 12h and 9h. I have been reading about QC issues with this factory, but i think that they are pretty fine.

Third, i just wanted to share it to increase our knowledge and to show to other people this new model????

That is a PPF and the markers at 9 and 12 are fine. Go ahead and approve it, the sooner you do the sooner it'll be on your wrist. Good luck with customs this time.

I do agree with this, comunity is more realistic but mostly because whos active on this subforum knows the rep world doesnt just google who has the best patek.... Btw Maj, blue dial was on hold, did you...?

This has happened several times lately, and I must admit it's one of the things that sometimes holds me off from posting full reviews or even wristshots in specific threads (the "What XXXXX are you wearing today?" are fine, as there's only positive views in those). But you are right, it seems like this threads tend to crawl into a contest of who can spot more flaws, which is quite a dick move, in a replica forum.

On the other hand, if you have been long enough in this hobby then you know that people come and go, and you surely know how to tell which opinion is valid and which one is not. I tend to completely dismiss 99% of these comments as I don't care at all. I still look at my wrist and see my (allegedly) subpar DJF Datejust and think it's a gorgeous watch, you know?

(and if you can't bear the weight of wearing that super 8.83mm thick PPF Nautilus with apocalyptically misaligned markers you are getting, maybe you can put it in a box with your GMT 6542 and send it my way, I will give them all the love they deserve... ;-P )

I strongly encourage you to fight against those people that tarnish good thread like this ! I'll certainly do more and more !

GingerBubba said it well, this was a fun thread, and now he decided to leave it alone and don't make a review of his watch and I can't blame him, even though most people here would appreciate, he would also have to face the flow of criticism about first : his ginger hands (but that has nothing to do with the watch) but then all the little detail that those nitpickers are blaming this release, without even having it in hand !

Let's be honest most people on this forum don't have the lifestyle to afford a gen. It's unlikely someone will spot 0.4mm as you load Tesco carrier bags into the back of a 1997 Honda Accord... Let's lighten up about being uber nitpicky and just enjoy wearing them.
