Very valid!! The right watches are being compared. There are 3 different versions of a 339 rep... None are good. One has a grey dial, one has black, one has brown. There are absolutely ZERO cases with brown PVD similar to the look of the GEN. I am comparing these because the 386 is similar in case color. There are a lot of PVD watches, consideration isn't part of what I'm saying. 339 Rep cases are black, not brown. Like I said before, I want to believe, if the 386 is good I'll be in line to get one. Previous attempts at this type of case were disappointing.

It is NOT AVAILABLE. Not for 2-4 months....
There will only be 1000 (some say 4000) made.

the good question is WHERE Panerai is sourcing their ceramic cases FROM? Do you really believe they have it done on their own? I don't think so, especially with so small quantity 1000-4000 pieces. It is easier to order them somewhere just for this.

i tend to ignore rumor and avoid speculation if i have nothing to gain from it. so we will see. if the 386 is a good rep i will get one. if not it will be neat to see what they release...

you're on wrong way of thinking on the subject I am saying again and again ''I have some infos one of the producers who is my dealer also in the sametime. He is trying to built up new 360 and 386 also platinium plated new model movement. He printed the 360 dial's quite nice and DLC plated cases Secondly he is trying to produce 386 with like gen or some what. He ordered the gen 386 for this project It will be arrived next mont But He says He able to give the exact color to case like gen. In my opinion he will use alu case covered with ceramic He is trying to matchup the color from gen picturec But he says He is able to control to color shades what he wants.
He has certain amount of New platnium plated movements (1200 units) He is planning to use for 360 and 177's The last 100 units, he sells for 100 PPled for members
His 386 project;
As I said before He is produsing from Alu I guess and can control the ceramic process for right color scheme.
I dont think that he will produce P900 or what ever..He is going to produce Platinium plated asian 7750 or 7753 something.
This is the detailed brief of what the guanzo guys are doing...

im very proud of factories like hublot f. who understand what we want , since we love watches sooo much and we do give importance to every single little detail! even the really small ones .
