Yeah, where i live its a PAM cult.
For instance its common knowledge that the material used for the case is truly innovative in the field of fine watch-making: the Panerai composite is a material whose features and performance are exceptional, being practically immutable over time. The result of an electrochemical process of ceramization of the aluminium, this material is harder than the ceramics normally used for cases in watch-making (zirconia), and also harder than metals like steel and titanium, as well as being lighter. The 386 makes no sense!! They aren't going to get close to the color of the composite case... Why do they waste time making watches like this and leave amazing submersibles like the 305 un repped. This would be such a great watch to rep very well. The dial is simple, Ti case, they already have the auto movement with a decent rotor.. Give me a good 305!! I can't understand this.

This is rep world... we had a 7750 now 7753 with no sunken date and date change from 10.00 o'clock..

There are a couple of cases on risti where the 386's have cracked. Don't believe the marketing hype it cracks like ceramic, so a ceramic case like the new 292 but brown will be great.
It looks great but still I wouldn't trust ceramics not to crack. I consider that 386 as a sunday sunshine watch
Lord did I just get excited! Been hoping for the 386 but that it would come so soon? Wow. I really hope they do a decent job on it, will be interesting to see how they do the P.9000 and the colour of the casing. Fingers crossed lads!

I'm not talking about movements or date wheels, even if the sunken issue is fixed the font is not!! Slapping an 'almost' rotor on an un decorated movement isn't a good attempt either. I'm talking about case color. Not making it close or ehhhh... But really doing something justice. I can't understand why, if there is going to be research done, and parts made why the F do the correct parts NOT get made. They bring a watch to market with soo many problems that they require upgrades when those parts could all be made in the same factory, thrown together and these perfect reps could reasonably have a $600 price tag and people would eat them up... Spending to buy new parts and have the work done, then AR coating and polish this, tighten that... All ends up being well over $600 and this happens all the time.....
This is why I have no faith, the 339 Rep is just a black case!!

Your comparisison is not walid br Cause there are a lot of second class rep around We are talking about 1:1 construction like hublot factories did There are a lot of so call PVD cases around but no body consider them So please compare the ight watches If we do not this way we have hunderets of rep versions all around (Some of them rep of rep)

PAM 386? I definitely want one! High end reps are going to be better and better - there is considerable stack of money makers are after
