Fedon06 After RAID, life in the REP world got very complicated. I waited about 3 months for watches after ordering - I'm talking about QC. I finally got it. Note that there is much less traffic in the used market as well. Everything was influenced by RAIDs. Besides - VSF the leader in Omega - is closed so all orders went to ORF.

Trusty is very difficult to buy from! I did it once and it had its issues so never again!
There is no reason he cannot provide better pics, it’s just pure laziness on his part! If he says serial is the same you should be ok but he should provide full and complete qc pics for you. He doesn’t really deserve his trusted status to be honest!

What did I miss? I just wanted to ensure that I got the HQ ORF version and not the „cheaper“ one and hoped for expert opinions.
Attached you can find a pic of the cg, I requested addition photos from the TD to check the serial on the movement

however you did not mention anything about it being ORF or cheaper version. You asked people’s opinion on the watch which is not allowed. You mention you will give it a pass, which means you are happy with what you are seeing. That is most important in this hobby.

One question to everyone. I do have a VSF V1 version, the one yet with a yellow balance wheel and a bit oversized pearl. Despite these two disadvantages, my version does have a ceramic dial. Which looks astonishing! And it seems to me that both new VSFs and ORFs do not have a ceramic dial anymore but kinda plastic. Is that true?

Went to the local Omega boutique today and tried the SMP while my ORF is on the way... I’ve seen one for the first time and boy, I LOVED IT !!! It amazed me much more than a Sub. Pics dont do justice to SMP 300
by the way, the crystal was not THAT clear (I mean its clear but it doesnt feel like there is no glass in between, glares are there) and it had ghost reflections... made me think that here in RWI we are obsessed with things that normal people are not even aware of
But man, its an amazing piece. It may not have a timeless design as strong as a Sub but it makes a Sub boring after some time, imho
As we all experience excellent reps here in this habitat, I thought I wouldnt go gen after going down this rabbit hole and see our reps potentials. I’ll definitely go gen on this once I have the financials for it

Finally got my ORF after five months. Hate it. Feels cheap & nasty, sounds cheap & nasty (bracelet rattles like a $5 market watch, rotor sounds bloody awful and loud). Can't wear it. Shame as it looks the part but feels and sounds shit.
Who was your TD? I find it odd that you're so unhappy with it, my ORF feels like its built like a tank and so is the bracelet. No rattle what so ever. You may have been had I'm afraid. Please post pics.

It’s listed as an AGF. Orf rotors do have have a tendency to over spin making them noisy. A small amount of mobieus sorts it out!
The gen rotor isn’t that quiet either but I’m guessing many have never handled one.
